Ahn's Quarter Pound Burger

I love Ahn's burgers, let me start with that. I subtracted one star because sometimes the burger can be a little on the dry side AND they have gotten rid of the sesame seed bun, which I thought set them apart from the other hole in the wall burger spots sprinkled throughput Oakland. The lady at the window is generally always friendly. I recommend you call ahead and your food will be ready in about 10 minutes. It's got the perfect location right next to Lake Merritt so no time is a bad time for a burger and a beautiful ambience by the lake.

I wanted to try this local spot out, so I ordered the chili cheese fries (4.65). I regret it: they put in American cheese (probably the cheapest cheese you can buy), the chili had absolutely no taste, and the fries had no seasoning. The worst part? They charged me $8.43—nearly twice as much of what I ordered! I guess you can't support locals all the time.

Im still full and its 6pm i ate there for lunch at 12 pm so that should tell you something good service clean bathroom which i like and big portions fair prices reasonably cheap breakfast big portions great tasting food no long waits, come on an empty stomach and walk out rubbing your stomach and this settles on your stomach so no bathroom after you eat big plus with me thats why i visit when ever in Oakland worth every penny 🏌️‍♀️
