Their coffee roaster gets the finest beans from South America, Africa and wherever fine coffee is grown. They do a great job of providing tasting notes on their pour overs, which for a chance was fairly accurate. Cola flavor, mineral feel.

Bica has the best espresso, pressed coffee and tea in the Bay Area. The staff is super-cool and the atmosphere is casual and fun. If you really love coffee, ditch that junk you're getting from other joints and come here. You won't be disappointed. Great pastries from local bakers and sandwiches, too...

One of the best coffee shops in the Bay. I am sometimes overwhelmed by the noise, but the coffee keeps me coming back. Whether it's a cup or a bag of beans, this probably my favourite shop for the quality of coffee (and diverse range with 5 different companies and regions often on their pour over board).
The coffee is quite high quality and the section of beans is large. Bica is the only place I know in the area that serves Heart, an excellent roaster from Portland. Great pour over and espresso, too. Also, free WiFi.
