Biryani Kabab

Driving around Oakland city during lunch time and getting hungry so I was looking for Halal place to eat, I found Biryani Kabab. Nice & clean place, staff are nice and friendly. We ordered Chicken Vindaloo, Onion Naan & Cheese Naan. Chicken Vindaloo’s test was really good but I was not satisfied with both Naan. For onion Naan, instead of raw onions, they should add some masala & I guess cheese Naan ($4.99) is not worth the price and it's overrated.

Service was excellent, very fast and kind. The food was just as good! It came out very quickly and was better than I could’ve imagined. The chicken tikka masala was some of the best my wife and I have ever had. We stopped by to grab lunch before our flight back to Denver, and we’re sad that we don’t have this place back home. Highly recommend!

This was unplanned Luncheon during thanksgiving holidays with family and family friends. The place was quite, obvious as most of the people are vacationing, and we were attended right away. Staff were friendly and took time to explain food- fun part, we grew up eating similar food- Nepalese delicacies. Lamb Kabab was the best for me and other preferred Biryani. Food we ordered as mild however we found them towards spicey and two kids , age 5 and 6 , could not eat them so order your food with special instruction. Overall food was good and we will visit again if happened to be in the area. There is street pay parking so PAY for not to be ticketed. Happy reading, Foodies!

There should be an indication on the menu for how spicy an item is. I’m sure all the food tastes great, I just wasn’t able to taste it because my tongue was burning. Ordered the chicken tikka, kebab seekh and briyani. All were too spicy for me. Naan was great and fresh. Edit: ate leftovers today and I can tell you that the naan and tikka chicken are the best things I’ve eaten in a long time. So tasty.
