Cool ambiance to sit and visit with friends and the awning rolls out at night (shown before & after). * Be advised, dogs ARE allowed, kids are NOT allowed, and as of 2/26/22 vaccine cards are required. Don't come FOR the food though -- tiny portions so low value to us for the price point. Mole Croquettes had good flavor, but only 3 small ones. Pork tacos also very good/flavorful, but 3 small tacos. Left to get food elsewhere...

Was really excited to visit this place as it was a spot I would constantly frequent before the pandemic but how things have changed, and for the worse. First, the music was SO LOUD, I couldn't even have a conversation without practically screaming and of course, the music was awful. Not sure if the workers get to choose or the patrons through a jukebox but it was just the usual radio hits that are on repeat all day, everyday. Next, the drinks are so expensive! I ordered two cocktails that came out to nearly $45! For just TWO drinks! and before I could say never mind, the bartender was immediately making the drinks, so I ended up paying. Lastly, the TV's were just non stop sports, so unless that's your thing, then you're out of luck on that. Also, what is up with the name change? Bar 'N' Yard?? Barnyard? Really? Do they think we are farm animals?

Surveillance state. Scanning every ID and sending it to a global database for safekeeping is creepy. Don't do that. Simply writing this review could result in my being added to such an '86' list as retaliation. There is no accountability or recourse to this secretive, private blacklist system. It's creepy.
