The crab cake here is absolutely wonderfully delicious! Wow, what a really great treat! This is a must try! I've never had a crab cake anything like it before. It was the best one I've ever had! The crab cake here is great! Two thumbs up! And their homemade chips are pretty good.

We ate at Dutch’s twice during our recent visit to Deep Creek and it was fabulous both times. We sat outside and loved the food, service and atmosphere! We had the crab cake sandwich and imperial topped chicken sandwich both times they were so delicious! After we ate ordered drinks and sat by the lake!

We ate outside, which was a bit chilly & rainy that day (doesn't factor into scoring as you can not control weather). We were hoping to have a good view of water but was obscured with child junglegym.
The food was really good, including the half & half Maryland crab & cream of crab soup...but $20 for soup?
My shrimp salad over garden salad was just what I was looking for. The steak & cheese sandwich had plenty of both. But again prices were a bit hefty.

For the prices we paid, we didn't expect to see people in crocs and gym shorts. Service started off a little slow, but once we got some food, it got better. Food was delicious. Some of the best Seared Ahi Tuna we've had as an appetizer. Steak was cooked well and all the seafood was amazing. Got creme Brulee for dessert and it was a little on the thick side. Overall good experience.

My boyfriend and I visited Duchess this week, and had a great experience.
We were quickly greeted upon entering the restaurant and seated. Austin was our server, and he was very knowledgeable about specials and helping me select a craft cocktail to consume. I ordered the scallops and my boyfriend order the chicken Alfredo. We were impressed with the flavor of the food, and the portion size.
The food and cocktail were delicious, and had superb service! This restaurant is a must visit when at Deep Creek Lake.

Fun to arrive by boat and dock at one of their public slips. Lovely large outdoor patio with views to the Lake. Great service and delicious food with large portions.

This Dutch's lives up to his Daughter in Frederick. Basically the same menu equally well prepared. Our server was "beach friendly" and still very efficient. Our dinners were prepared as ordered. The martini and wine were great. Whether you sit in the bar, on the patio or in the main dining area, views of the lake put the finish on a great evening.

We absolutely love this place. It’s a beautiful restaurant with Lake views and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is spot on! Food is fabulous ! We eat here every time we visit Deep Creek Lake.

First time visiting this restaurant. My husband did not disappoint me by saying I would love it. Chris was our waiter, he did an excellent job. Chris gave us a warm welcome, explain their manu to 1st visitors like me. He always was attentive we each of us, making sure each one was pleased. There's no doubt I will be coming back one day.

Amazing crab cake and I was thrilled they offered it in a smaller portion size which was still very generous. Service was EXCELLENT even with a large group.

We absolutely loved this place! Arrived by chance after another local place closed early due to minimal customers. The restaurant is very warm and provides a log cabin feel. Our server was extremely friendly. She ensured that we were aware that their crab products are jumbo lump crab with no fillers which proved to be true! We had their crab dip, stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes, crab imperial, shrimp, and oysters. If you are a lover of crabs I would highly recommend it!

Hands-down, one of the best places we have ever dined. We love the fine dining experience in a warm, business casual, cozy atmosphere. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. From the time we walked in until the time we walked out, everything was perfect!

We started with the cream of crab soup and bacon, wrapped scallops. The cream of crab soup was good, but lacking old bay for this Baltimore family. The bacon wrapped scallops were amazing. Next were the salads, both garden, and Caesar were very good including the house honey lemon dressing. The NY strip steak was melt in your mouth amazing. If you are a crabcake lover like me, then you will not be disappointed. The crab imperial was just to die for. I have to admit that the vegetarian pasta was just OK. The service was great, our server Cody H. was particularly enthusiastic about the menu, and very attentive. We definitely recommend!

Last night we went to Dutch"s for a lovely dinner. The place was GORGEOUS, beautiful views, food was PHENOMENAL, & the service was impeccable! Mom & dad had the lobster/crab, I had the BEST crab cakes ever (zero filler), & Rick had the 16oz NY Strip...HIGHLY RECOMMEND 😍

Thinking about lunch and where to go I remembered the Silver Tree from many years ago when I used to come to Deep Creek with my buddy Jack. We would often come here for lunch or dinner and the food was always good, that was 40 years ago. Decided what the heck and came here on Saturday for a late lunch.
The waitress was pleasant and helpful the place was clean as a pin and the lunch menu looked great.
I ordered a crabcake sandwich as did my wife. What a pleasant surprise that was, the crab meat was fresh as could be the roll was delicious the tomato was just picked, what a treat. It came with homemade chips that were just right.
The foods not cheap but it’s excellent and I would recommend this place to anyone in the neighborhood who is looking for a really great meal. First class!

We had a great evening. Shannon, Caleb, Tina in bar service and Meghan in dining served us well. We had been warmly greeted by the host staff, went to the sports bar downstairs, went to the upstairs dining level bar, and then moved to our reserved table. Drinks were well mixed, dinner was delicious, and the ambiance was excellent. The fireplaces were aglow with warmth as was the staff. We anticipate Thanksgiving buffet next week!!

We had a Celebration of Life for my husband in their private event room. There were 65 people.
The room was gorgeous. The food was amazing. The service outstanding. We couldn't have been more pleased.

Went here on a spur of the moment to treat ourselves. So glad we did. Everything was awesome. Chris was our outstanding waiter.
We had soup and appetizers. The French onion soup was very flavorful and my husband's cream of crab was delicious ad well. We had stuffed mushroom caps topped with lump crab meat and so good.
Husband had fried oysters that he said was some of the best he has had. You could tell that the breading was lighter done. We both had Dutchs broiled seafood platter. It was so good but we both took home enough to have another meal. We both agreed we will be eating here again.
