The BBQ is worth a drive from Edmonds! I had the beef brisket and sausage with potato salad and coleslaw. Hubs had the brisket sandwich, potato salad and banana pudding. His only complaint was the dessert cup should be bigger. Texans love their banana pudding �
It’s nice to fine an Eastern NC style BBQ that has no tomato! My child LOVED it! Now I need to come back if you have a slaw that isn’t vinegar based! The beans were even better after I added the house sauce and some pork! Hubby enjoyed the Kielbasa, and a couple chunks went into my black eyed peas to season the pot!
BBQ was tasty. By dumb luck they didn't have brisket when I went. Beautiful smoke rings on the ribs and juicy pulled pork. Sauce on the side is the right way.
Baked beans were slightly sweet, good. Potato salad was the right amount of flavor with a skin on pieces adding a nice texture.
Pickle and white bread the right complement.
We absolutely love BBQ and were looking to grab a quick bite. Setup is a bit like a high school lunch line, but they'll get your plate loaded and you happily munching fast! Every bite was excellent!
As a born and raised Texan, chef , and traveled experienced trucker , I can say whole heartedly this transplant bbq is the real deal!!!! Full flavor and wow oh wow did it just give me the feels of home. I will admit the brisket didn't taste as fresh as your expect but still very well done and full of flavor. I got the spicy sausage and ribs with brisket beans and Mac. All of which including these sauces impressed me!!!! Just to show you I know good que I am posting in the pics of an avocado lime injected and marinade brisket never done before anyone and to show you these guys are hanging with the best of us bbq'ers!!!

The BBQ joint is amazing! Friendly staff, clean and casual atmosphere, and the food was delicious...like, the whole family is still talking about it days later and we all got different things. The descriptions on the online menu don't do it justice. It's the only place I've ever been to that the macaroni and potato salads rival my mom's. The bbq sauce is perfect and should be bottled for purchase. We will definitely be back!
Love this place! The food is always delicious, the service is wonderfully inviting, and I have never been able to leave here without feeling like it would just be easier if someone rolled me out. So much good eating here!
Grabbed food to go and it was AMAZING! The special was pulled rib sandwiches so we got one of those, a pecan praline poundcake, and a three meat plate with brisket, pulled pork, and kielbasa. It was all delicious! We had both the bbq sauce and the mustard sauce, so yummy.
I took a little of the rib meat from the sandwich and mixed it in with the side of macaroni and cheese. The mac and cheese was already tasty and clearly not from a box, and adding the rib meat made it level 10 incredible!
Highly recommend. Very family friendly, afordable, filling, and delicious!!!!
Loved my lunch stop today. Very good pulled pork excellent brisket cooked just to the point to be able to pull apart with your hands. The barbeque sauce was balanced very well not too sweet not too vingerie. The sides were just as good. Mac and cheese cheesey runny gewyness. The beans cooked they way they should be there are some bits of meat on there too. Overall very good barbeque. It was empty when I pulled in but it got busy while I was eating. Good place good people stop by give it a try.
Very welcoming customer service, ladies were super nice. Pulled Pork sandwiches hit the spot with a side of coleslaw and loved how each sandwich included it’s own little container of bbq sauce which was great. Would have taken a picture but I ate it so fast, I forgot.
The brisket wasn’t very tender and a little on the dry side, not my favorite to be honest but still enjoyed it.
The banana pudding was great!
4 pulled pork sandwiches with sides,
1 brisket with sides,
2 banana puddings.
I paid about 80$ before tip.
Will return!
Both my brisket and chicken were dry. It’s tricky to properly bbq these meats. With brisket, you have to start them cooking it at 3am, to begin with. Anyway, friendly service and proper bbq atmosphere.
I ordered a half rack of ribs with cole slaw and jambalaya for my sides.
The half rack was 6 ribs of decent size and tasted great! The ribs came with a small container of sauce that you can Dib the ribs into, or dump over the top of the ribs.
The jambalaya was a special side today, it isn't a normally served side. I thought it was the best jambalaya I've had outside of Louisiana.
This was a nice lunch stop and I look forward to my next visit.
