J-petal

We were walking by the cute town and saw Jpetal. So glad we stopped. Got the Hawaiian bowl, cookie monster and strawberry icecream roll. We also got a passion fruit boba light drink. The bowl was very good, all the flavors mixed so nice. IT had some sweet, spicy a but sour the Tuna was very good do wish they added more of the protein though but overall a very nice refreshing bowl. The icecream rolls are súper cute. The icecream is very good.

I want to start off by saying that this is the best Japanese crêpe store I've ever been to. Fast service, polite employees, clean environment, and very delicious crêpe. The light bulb drinks were unique and luscious. The crêpes were absolutely mouth-watering. No words can describe how appetizing the crêpes were. On top of that, there are several crêpes to choose from and at a reasonable price. You can go for savory or sweet flavored. I will never forget my experience at J-Petal Nyack. Without much thoughts, 5 stars for sure.

After getting food poisoning here I thought maybe Id try again and instantly regretted it. Literally the worst customer service Ive ever seen. I called to see what time they close because they are never there for the times online. I walked in at 9:15 (they close at 9:30) and after waiting to get the cashier’s attention because she was talking to her friend, she tells me the machine is off. If she hadnt spent so much time talking to her friend perhaps the machine would have been on, I understand it is a new store but the customer service is horrid.

We were really excited to come here for lunch. We regret that. The service is extraordinarily slow for a place where all you are doing is throwing ingredients in a bowl. They give you the smallest portion of fish i’ve ever seen anywhere. The workers don’t understand english which makes asking a question or making a request virtually impossible. The bowl was ok but unfulfilling and not worth the price. I won’t be rushing back.
