1908 Draught House

Location is really nice looking and clean. Fried pickle app was amazing but our actual meal was underwhelming. I payed 14 for a 6oz blue shroom burger. It was definitely light on blue cheese and mushrooms. Fries were a standard fare of crinkle cut with seasoning salt. Service wasn't bad by any means but not amazing as it was during lunch and it was only her and the bartender so I don't expect a lot when a server has half a room to pay attention to. We would come back only for the fried pickles and drinks next time and not worry about the meal.

The only reason we continue visiting is because it sometimes is the only place in Norwalk to get food. The bartender who works Monday nights is great, super personable. Everything else about this place is not great. Their kitchen closes at random times depending on the day. We both work later so we try to call before going. 1/10 times someone answers the phone. Nobody ever answers. When we order to go, it’s always wrong. Today I tried calling to see what I got because I had no choice but to eat it as my husband had dropped it off, no answer. It’s frustrating.
