We went here for an informal reunion of high school friends. There were about 12 of us and the staff was very accommodating and patient. Service was very attentive and the atmosphere was classy. My wife and I had a drink at the bar beforehand and the bartender was equally top-notch. The view of the harbor from the bar is amazing, so I highly recommend a drink or even a meal at the bar around sundown. You won't be sorry. Best of all, the food was amazing. Well seasoned, creative and cooked to perfection. If we lived in the area, we would be regulars just so we could try more things on the menu! It's a little pricey but worth it, especially for special occasions or when you want to treat yourself!

Love their new renovation, lots of menu choices, their fish and chips is my top dish, another of my fave dishes are the skirt steak with chimichurri, lobster roll, and pesto ravioli! Perfect to have dinner outdoors when it’s nice out!

Visited with a party of 5 this past Saturday for dinner and drinks. The atmosphere is very cozy and our server was great, as well as accommodating. Calamari appetizer and bread were excellent. We ordered several entrées, and none of us had any complaints, we thought the steaks and fish dishes were great. Nice location with prime views of the harbor. Would visit again!

my husband and I went for dinner last night for the first time
first sat at the bar and had the best old-fashion ever and then a great dinner to follow. Salmon and goat cheese fig ravioli. Great atmosphere. We will be back for sure.

For starters, the tuna nachos had plenty of tender chunks of tuna and the crab cake had a very unique and tasty Asian-influenced flavor.
The bronzino and skirt steak were also great choices for entrees.

We went to walk around the Village of Northport on a Sunday night and ended up at Skippers for some dinner and drinks. We started with a few drinks and then asked our waitress Erin for some recommendations for dinner. Erin was very knowledgeable with menu options and was able to point me towards some of the most popular and delicious plates. She recommended me to get the swordfish which was excellent! We also ordered the salmon, and steak tacos. Everything was very good so we decided to stay for dessert. We got an order of the raspberry crème brûlée, and the bread pudding. Again, everything was fresh and delicious. Throughout the rest of our time there Erin was very helpful, and courteous and kept all our drinks refilled. The restaurant is located right on the corner nearest the water in Northport. On a nice day you could sit outside and get the cool breeze off the water with a beautiful view of the harbor with all the sailboats. I would certainly recommended trying Skippers!

Expensive but food was great.
5 stars due to waitress. Best waitress I've had in years. Professional and intentitive while being quick and non-intrusive. I dine out 1-2 times a week, wish all waiters where that good. Should of gotten her name for the review.

Love everything we have here! Today we tried the espresso martini with chocolate mousse with raspberry sorbet! YUM!!!
The coffee here is great, but the espresso martini is yummy! Not to sweet-just right! 💙

Very nice place right outside of the marina. Outside and inside seating is available. The weather was very cooperating, and they had the front windows open to give the establishment an open feeling being seated inside. The food was fantastic, and our waiter was attentive and courteous. The establishment was very busy, and the food was served in good time, with a well orchestrated staff.
