Mmmmmmm....best place on boardwalk! Sam's pizza, curly fries and then hassles ice cream for dessert!
The ice cream is amazing (like really really good) and I also think this is the cleanest ice cream parlor I've ever eaten at. I highly recommend them!

This place has been here for years! They must be doing something right! If you want a good and tasty ice cream, then this is your place. It’s not the best I’ve ever had but it’s really very good. I had the dairy free option and I had 2 choices. This was a novelty for me because there’s usually just one dairy free option! I had dairy free cookie dough with marshmallow topping and it was really delicious. My friend had chocolate chip mint and she said how tasty hers was.
The only criticism would be is the ridiculously long line every evening! We ordered somewhat early in the evening (around 8:30pm) and the line wasn’t too bad. But sometimes the line is as long as the miniature golf course on the next block!
I went on our first night of vacation and we went every night during our 4 day stay. I got strawberry and the picture you see is of the monster cookie. If you love peanut butter, you won't be disappointed in this choice. My fiance got chocolate and black cherry. He said it was delicious. I'll be back.
I had an incredible experience at this ice cream shop, especially with their gallon-sized chocolate milkshake. The shake was rich, creamy, and had the perfect balance of chocolate flavor. It was indulgence at its finest, and the portion size was perfect for my 6 year old. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere made my visit even more enjoyable. If you're a chocolate lover, don't miss out on this delectable treat! Ask for the gallon milkshake!!
Love love love Hassles Ice Cream. they have my favorite version of cherry vanilla ice cream from Richmans. I love their waffles and ice cream. They make the waffles fresh and cover them with powdered sugar. There’s nothing better than a hot waffle and delicious ice cream together. I highly recommend that you try Hassel’s ice cream. It’s one of our favorite places at the shore to visit.
it will be a hassle to even get in there! Hassels ice cream is definitely packed for reason though. I have been going since I was a kid, my family and i would play mini golf then get ice cream, i would get cotton candy. Lets just say nothing has changed. Its the same tasty ice cream they had back then just with even more delicious flavors, and sundaes!! The area is too cute, and the people are very friendly. It is most definitely a place for families and a cute date night! Alittle pricey but honestly you get your moneys worth with the sizing!
On the way to the shore my wife researched several ice cream shops she wanted to visit. She narrowed it down to two spots and Hassles was one of them. She and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed their treats. I did not order anything. I asked about lactose free items and was offered only one flavor of ice cream (chocolate mint cookie) I think. The young lady did not offer the sherbet as an option. I did not feel like educating anyone and used my ice cream money somewhere else on another treat 😉. Will certainly go back if we ever find ourselves visiting again from North Carolina.
Loved the mini golf that is alongside the parlour. Excellent addition and definitely a lot of fun! The ice cream was awesome! Tasted fresh and not filled with sugar.
Always great!!
My favorite is the “Joe”
Rocky road, cookie dough and butter pecan banana split with extra walnuts and fruity pebbles. Instead of in a dish it’s put on a hot Belgian waffle with whip cream and cherry!
Magnificent!!
Cute little ice cream parlor right off the boardwalk. Tons of different flavors of ice cream and all at reasonable prices. The waffles were fantastic and they have homemade whipped cream which is always a plus. They also have mini golf in the back and bike rentals.
Loved this mini golf course! So many great old time features I remember from my younger years. Clean, well run and FUN!!!
