North Shore Bar And Kitchen

So we decided to pop into North Shore for some lunch last week as they are under new ownership and are rebranded from the old Casey's on third. Full disclosure I never ate the food while under the former ownership (i.e., only had drinks when we visited in prior times). Let me tell you they hit it out of the park and the reason I say this is because in the 25 years I have been with my husband he has never uttered the words "this is the best food I have EVER had". Without exaggeration I have never heard him say those words so of course I went about quizzing him while we ate... I told him it was a bold statement and he said ... we have gone to a lot of places for lunch dinner in several states and this is the best meal I ever had ... So he was referring to the PIG WINGS and NORTH SHORE FRIES ... the wings are deep fried pork shanks long hot bbq sauce and basil Parmesan gremolata The Fries - - old bay Curley fries crab gravy lump crab and chive I will tell you the portions were dinner portions not lunch portions We also had a sampler of the egg rolls - - my husband loved the Cuban egg roll and I was a huge fan of the chicken parm egg roll and the cheesesteak egg roll Because we didn't know that these appetizers would be in such large portions we tasted but took home the pork roll hamburger that we had intended to split for lunch As I type my husband is heating up the leftovers for dinner !!! He is excited to come back and try other offerings And as we didn't have time to hang out ... we are both looking forward to returning for some drinks and music Welcome to the neighborhood North Shore, welcome!!! Ps I would be remiss if I didn't mention that our server Jeanne was amazingly sweet and knowledgeable and she even told the chef how much we raved about the food and he came out to say hello to us Suggestion I would take that crab gravy used for the north shore fries and put that on some pasta ... best gravy down the jersey shore !!!

Great drinks, great live entertainment outdoors. Jamison is a fun band to see while sipping strawberry daiquiri!

The best bar food on the island. In fact, it's not even bar food. The guy who runs the kitchen isn't a cook. He's a chef. It's a can't miss menu. Whatever ur in the mood for, it's gonna be 10 times better than the last place u ate that same thing. And the bartender Phil is as cool as they get. Love this place.

Excellent service, great food, fun environment. It's definitely a throwback South Jersey Shore establishment with the live music, wrap around bar, and plenty of TV's

Good food and super service! The only reason I wouldn't give a five star is because the music that the DJ was playing was far too loud to even hold a conversation.
