A J's Breakfast & Lunch

The food is always tasty, except, my husband always gets annoyed when restaurants assume that everyone likes home fries with ONIONS. NO! He hates onions in home fries or anything. Other than that, I love the RED, white & black decor & the cute stainless steel & red chairs & booths. It's an upbeat, cheerful atmosphere & the staff is always sweet! I always enjoy it & it's very close to home for us! My favorite dish: Praeline Pancakes.

Went here on a Sat am and was very happy with the service and food. Place wasnt busy by a long shot. Nothing about the food was amazing, but it was edible and enjoyable. Me and my husband decided to come back the next day. It was a disappointment. The food was still the same but the place was filled and the time it took to get our food (which wasnt alot by no means), was way too long. It took about 45 min for it to come out. Waitress had to apologize twice that it was busy and the kitchen was trying to catch up. There was a table that sat and placed there order after us and got their food before us. Was not happy.

Lauren (if I spell her name right) is a sweetheart and makes us feel like having a breakfast at out own home. The gals welcoming us (sorry, no names) were so kind and caring- enough join Lauren to sing a birthday song to us <3 Daily special california omelette was delicious and at a good portion size. You can make modifications to your order without worriying about kitchen getting it right; they will get it right! At least, it worked for me. Clean place, spacious, cozy and well organized. Tues-Fri Weekday Breakfast Special is something you should try! 8am - 10am, add it to your calendar and enjoy the healthy 4 for $4 at Annie’s!
