Caffe Pronto

We love Cafe Pronto! Great food, awesome prices and the service is incredible. The mom and dad make you feel like you are visiting family. During our first trip here we weren't sure what to do with our plates so we took them to the front to which the dad joked with us saying "hey you're taking my job" during our second visit the momma gave us free lime Gelato for no reason. Today was the first time going late at night & the service was exactly the same INCREDIBLE! There is also a lady that works there in the afternoons, she is very kind as well and makes such amazing lattes.. We will be their customers for as long as they'll have us. Thank you for your kindness. We appreciate you.

If I could fall in love with a business, then this would be one of those places. It brought me back to my travels around Italy, the smaller villages. I was a bit hesitant walking in, thinking, I’m an outsider and everyone is just going to stare me down, but no one batted an eye. I was met with friendly banter and a great cappuccino. Now, if you are looking for a crafted coffee drink from a hip coffee shop, you are not going to get that here, and that’s ok. There is no attitude from some snotty barista, but you get a great cappuccino or espresso, made with love. They use Kimbo beans, just like you would find in Italy. And I had a pistachio cornetto along with it. Between that and listening to the neighborhood gentlemen chatting in Italian, I felt like I belonged. So happy that we made the move to this neighborhood and we found Cafe Pronto.

If you haven’t been...go. This place is hands down one of THE best. If you’re Italian, you’ll love it more than most. It feels like being at the great grandparents house...awesome people, delicious eggplant parm sandwich, cappuccino and yummy desserts. It’s a great place to hang out and enjoy your afternoon. It’s definitely my favorite place to wait for my loved ones that are flying into O’hare or just grab a coffee.
