Arrived early on Sunday morning. Christie was very quick acknowledging me and getting my order in. I had the veggie omelette with fruit and wheat pancakes. They were all delicious and served hot.👍

I wouldn’t have normally stopped to eat out as I’m a diabetic and my diet has been pretty strict lately. But my sugar was low and I needed food. The restaurant was pretty empty, probably about 10-12 tables open. Serval servers walked by me before I was even addressed. After that I waited about fifteen minutes, then got a seat. My omelette was horribly undercooked. I also told her not to put ham inside the omelette and it was still there when I cut it open. She was clearly annoyed when I sent it back, I just payed and left without anything but a soda.

Was college football game day in Norman and my group of nine; including me, was looking for somewhere we could get a fast breakfast. Everywhere in town seemed to be full with a hour or two waiting list. We wound up going with Jimmy’s Egg because though they were full they could still squeeze us in.
I got the classic eggs & bacon breakfast with toast & hash browns an a side of wheat toast. I enjoyed my meal, the bacon was crispy and was nice long strips. My toast was a little burnt but I didn’t mind it really. I would come back here for breakfast again

The meals were delicious and we were seated quickly. My 15yearold grandson ate two eggs, three sausage patties, a hotcake, two biscuits with gravy, and a cinnamon roll. Loved all the options!
The service was cheerful but slow and we were seated by the cash register. No fifth star today, guys.

I don’t know when I started coming to Jimmy’s Egg. Once or twice during the week. Nicole is a very sweet and wonderful waitress. If she leaves Jimmy’s Egg she couldn’t be replace . She is very good at her job. She is always busy taking orders for the customers. Cleaning when she has a free moment which is not very long. I can’t say enough about her. I have truly made a new friend.

I eat breakfast every Monday at Jimmy's Egg, with several of my friends. None of us have ever had a problem with the quality of the food or with the staff. If I lived in Norman I would eat there more often. I really enjoy the staff and how they make us feel at home.

The staff is great and the food ain’t far behind. I go for the omelette since it is a bigger meal, but my favorite dish is the traditional with a chopped sirloin. Add some sautéed onions and mushrooms and you’re in business. The Carnitas Skillet is also a good way to go. Velma in the kitchen makes it to order as ordered every time.
