Last night we celebrated my husband's birthday and retirement with family and friends. BEST. PARTY. EVER. Many many thanks to the Norman Charleston's staff, especially Bill and Paige with the rest of the wait staff for their kindness, courtesy and super service to our party of 18 adults and 3 kids and 1 infant. You made this surprise party awesome. I highly recommend Charleston's Norman for any function you are planning! ! Great food & beverages too!!

Very nice restaurant. Waitress was exceptional. Enchilada dinner, spinach dip, and shrimp cocktail were superb. My husband and I will definitely return.

Typical american pub environment..little dark but perfect for having your drinks.
Serves variety of beers and drinks. Tried salads and roast chicken for our main course. It was decent.

My roasted chicken was pretty good but I didn't really enjoy their Brussels sprouts, my mom's parmesan crusted chicken was really delicious. My son found the turkey sandwich to be dry, I think that is because the turkey was more like turkey breast then deli meat. My brother really liked his steak, and my nephew found his burger and fries satisfactory. The service was really slow, but that may not be normal.
This place is really worth a visit. The atmosphere is deep, dim, and elegant. I like that the acoustics were good and we could have dinner conversation easily.
The servers have been there for a while, and the resulting service is excellent.
The food is well flavored without trying too hard. We were able to order a number of excellent dishes. The Chicken, steak, ribs and pasta were all excellent. We couldn't find a way to go wrong... We will visit this location again.

We really enjoyed everything about Charleston's. The food was great, the atmosphere nice and the service was friendly and very fast. No sooner did a plate empty and someone would appear and take it from the table. I had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken, which was very good. Crisp and flavorful breading yet tender and juicy on the inside. Also at my table was the Fried Catfish, also very good and a Reuben Sandwich which did not disappoint. We would definitely return next time we're in Norman.

Stopped back in for my favorite French Dip sandwich. Found things vastly improved. The food was great and my server extremely competent and attentive.
They have a new soup offering on Mondays called Spicy Bean soup. It is probably best described as Chicken Chili with some green peppers for just a bit of spice and diced tomato on top for presentation. It is pretty, tasty, and surprisingly not all that spicy despite the name.

Have to agree with several of the reviewers this particular store leaves a lot to be desired. They could probably improve things a lot by rotating their staff through a store were folks have a clue. The I-240 store in OKC comes to mind.
Pricey for what it is but good overall. Food was tasty, service was great, atmosphere was casual but not bar/grill style.
Had an excellent prime rib, big, tender and juicy. My wife had a fillet and it was melt in your mouth good. Bread pudding was also to die for. It's a bit on the expensive side, but worth it.

Best eating experience. This was the most enjoyable eating experience I've had any where. I have dined in some very nice restaurants from coast to coast north and south.. Our family had the best service and everything that came out of the kitchen was excellent. We were not rushed. The bread pudding is the most glorious dessert I have had, that I didn't make. Will go back if I ever go to Norman again. Been to one in Tulsa didn't compare.

I had chicken picatta. My father had chicken enchiladas. ( I suggest getting Mexican dish from a Mexican restaurant lol)
Great atmosphere and attentive, well trained staff. Small Filet was cooked PERFECTLY to Med Rare, with great flavor in all dishes. Well done!
Server was exceptional. Great atmosphere and really good Chicken Parmesean. Key Lime pie was absolutely the best I've had.
Really not quite 5 star but the servers were great and the restaurant was very clean. Frankly the best thing we had was the appetizer, which was the shrimp. I had the New York strip special. Cooked correctly but surprisingly tough and under seasoned. Also the baked potato was a bit cold. I'm usually not this picky but at 50 dollars per person it needs to be about perfect.
I love getting the City Platter. It's not on the menu but is an excellent light and tasty meal.
Our favorite restaurant. We meet our son here in Norman, and enjoy the Edmond location when we're home. Never had a bad meal, don't forget to ask for the complimentary bread before the meal. It's not on the menu, but ask for it!
Very nice and clean environment. I love to take the wife out here and just watch her enjoy herself. I wish I could afford it more often than I do but It makes it just as good going for special occasions.
Meagan, our server, was amazing. Loved that she let us have a little girl time and didn't rush us to flip a table. This Charleston's makes a great lemon drop martini.
