Salad Works

Very Poor customer Service!I went today around 2pm. The lady at the salad bar was very very rude! Don’t feel like looking at her face again. I had been there earlier on a Saturday.Though it was a different lady her gesture was equally rude! One star is for the kid at the register who was courteous! Being in Newtown,the customers deserve more courteous employees !

Pickup 9/9 at 6:05 EST PM My wife had a very abrasive interaction with the girl employee making the salads. She was very rude to questions regarding certain ingredients, and if dressing could be mixed in. I actually ended up throwing out my buffalo blue salad as the salad dressing tasted like it went bad. I have been to many locations over many years and this is the worst experience we have ever had. Disappointing to say the least, and I hope some discipline is involved with said employee. Unfortunately did not catch her name. We have reached out to Guest Relations as well.

So I walked in, ordered my food. I’m not picky when it come to how I get my food or how long it takes. But I do have a slight issue of getting whistled at as I am walking out. I didn’t even reach the door yet when I heard it. Maybe it wasn’t towards me, I honestly hope not. But regardless I most likely will never step foot in there again. Also if it was towards me, there were four people in there who allowed the behavior so honestly you guys killed it!:)))))

The salad itself was nice, but the employees there are super unwelcoming. The girl who made my order seemed intent on rushing me along and barely looked at me the entire time. Which baffles me considering there was nobody else in line, so there was no reason to speed me along like that. The cashier wasn't much better, either. I've seen her when I've come here before and not once did she ever smile or act pleasantly. At least the food is good.

I was always pretty happy with saladworks and this location, but something has changed. The last couple months I’ve noticed my salads look smaller and some of the ingredients are worse. The Brussels sprouts, butternut squash and other things aren’t cooked enough. They’re rock hard, which makes it inedible. WAY TOO pricey to not get quality every single time you go. Had the issue three times in a row and because of this, I won’t be going back to that location again.

I went to dinner with a friend. First impression was the place was dirty, trash laying on the floor. At the end of the checkout counter sat cleaning supplies including rags and bottles of cleaner. A long table was filled with workers personal items and partially eaten items. As for the food, there was no Romain lettuce and the iceburg lettuce appeared old and limp. I wont be going back..

In the past year, I have eaten here consistently every Thursday lunch. The food is always fresh and the service from the people making the food is great. My only issue is with a certain manager, Martha, which is why I gave a 2-star review. She is generally rude to me for a while now, and yesterday I found out on my credit card statement that she charged me for two salads when I only had one. Once confronted with her about this issue, she did not even apologize. She did give me one salad for "free" ( I pre-paid for it last week). The minimum I expect from a store managed is a basic apology, especially since I am a regular supporter of the branch she manages. If not for that behaviour, I would have rated with 5 stars.
