The best General Tso chicken......you'll never try any like it any where else.
Im an American Chinese connoisseur. THIS is one of the best examples of a classic 1950s style Chinese restaurant. You MUST dine in (the menu is different as well). The Pu Pu tray comes out flaming! There are Tiki drinks. The food has the elusive wok hei (wok breath) flavor. Beautiful presentation. Get the dinner for two (or four, etc) with the Pu Pu tray and wonton soup and you will not be disappointed. SO much food! Amazing friendly service from a seasoned skilled server.
The wonderful newly remodeled atmosphere along with some really great food and company of the people who run this place was amazing... All I have to say is try anything on the menu, you can't go wrong no matter what you choose... Big portions and exquisite taste along with the care that they put into each and every customer that walks through the door ... Treating them like family... No better place ... I give this restaurant a 5 star review... Love it

We Loved It!
We are from Summerfield Florida visiting daughter in Williamsburg. She recommended Port Arthur in Newport News, and we have eaten there twice in the past two weeks. Exceptionally good food. It's several levels higher than most other Chinese food we have had.
Shrimp with lobster sauce was thick and flavorful rather the watery versions we have had elsewhere. Cashew chicken was a nice garlic sauce with a lot of cashews. Boo loo gai had real tasty fried chicken nuggets with pineapple, lychee nuts, maraschino Cherries, and broccoli served over rice with sweet and sour sauce. All vegatables were really fresh.
Started meal with sizzling rice soup (almost can't find this any more), shrimp fried wontons (crab cheese with shrimp), and egg rolls (real deal, fresh and tasty). All sauces seemed made for their dishes and not just one sauce fits all. Several different sweet and sour sauces.
Service was efficient, place was nicely appointed, and prices were really reasonable given amount and quality. This restaurant is not to be missed. We will be back whenever we visit Williamsburg (and maybe even later in the week).

Right! We are old since we are opened 40 yrs already, full of memory but not out dated. As our hostess said, we are cooking in different way and I believe that it can be different between all the Chinese restaurant but the same food. Our General Tso's Chicken is made by White Meat and we are using the best Branded's Flank Steak for our Beef with Broccoli. Our waitress explained the purpose of the fire for the sampler but you still said "still can't figure out".
We were sorry that you don't like our foods so we didn't charge your dishes those even not had a bite on it (we are all wondering how can you said that was a horrible food as you didn't eat it). However, still, alot of customers like them. Please don't insult our customers whose still coming to our restaurant! Thank you!
Great Experience. We had outstanding service there. I have never had a friendlier waitress. The food was pretty good for the price. We will definitely return.
Nice surprise. We're new to town and the name sounded off, but on Valentine's we were excited to find the 1st "non-strip mall" chinese restaurant googled! Nice simple, pretty, and quiet atmosphere, friendly service, GOOD looking and tasting dishes!They have good almond cookies I haven't had since living in midwest for the past 10 yrs. That was a nice nostalgic touch for me! We've only been there once, but look forward to going again!
Very well done. Tasted awesome. Presentation was very nice. The dishes are cooked just right with little hints of flavor hidden throughout.

Nice little hidden gem. Wonderful seafood and cozy atmosphere. Scallops were wonderful. Staff is kind of family, so it's a bit rough, but they try. Definitely worth a try.
Dropped in for dinner based on others reviews and really glad we did! The food was really good and really affordable. We got the dinner special for two with the pu pu platter and it was really fun when it came to the table with the mini flaming grill. We ate a lot and still took leftovers home. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The whole dining experience was pretty long as it was busy when we got there so depending on when you go, don't expect to your food to be served quickly but our waitress had given us a heads up. Definitely recommend and we will be back!

I've never been to a Chinese restaurant with such kind staff. 3pm on a Saturday is obviously when senior citizens enjoy a quiet time & some extra special service. I was amazed by how attentive the waitresses were to all the customers who came in.
My Pork Mu-shu was delicious & I was even treated with real chilli oil!
Ate here 1/22/22! This food was amazing! The rice is seasoned, the general tso chicken is WHITE MEAT, with plenty of sauce and it pairs well with the egg roll!!!! I have been in 757 for over 6 months and tried many Chinese joints! This is by far the best (For general tso chicken)
The food here was excellent! I'm not sure who was in that kitchen but it tasted like a Chinese Big Momma was working their stove!!
