Best in OC...The sushi dishes are unique and created in the kitchen weekly... the owner, Joo Shin is amazing as are his fellow chef colleagues. Super place for dinner dates or a quick bite...friendly and clean and great hours♥️

The fish was very high quality and delicate so eating was a very good experience. The service wasn’t as bad as other reviews I just felt it was lacking. The atmosphere was really nice and modern with culture at pieces and things like that. Overall I would go again.

We went to eat Lunch/Dinner here at 3:00 PM on a Saturday with a good friend who eats here often and recommended the restaurant. We sat in the section that did not have the hibachi tables because we were planning on eating sushi instead of the Hibachi grill.
We started our meal with their house salad. The salad dressing was flavorful, and they were very generous with the amount of dressing. I eat at many hibachi restaurants, and I thought this was the best salad served in this style that I have had. After the salad, we ordered the mixed tempura plate. The tempura was light and crispy. The dipping sauce was flavorful and enhanced the flavor of the tempura but was not overpowering. The plate had peppers, sweet potatoes, broccoli, zucchini, acorn squash, onions, and beautiful long shrimp.
It was then time for the sushi to arrive. We ordered the Shogun Roll (a specialty roll not on the menu), the volcano roll, the monster roll, and a spider roll. I thought the sushi we ordered had great flavor and was well constructed and tightly wrapped. Nothing fell apart as we tried to eat it. My favorites would be the Shogun Roll and the Monster Roll. This was the first time I had eel on my sushi, which was very good.
The service was very good, and they always kept our drinks filled. They were attentive when we were ready for the next portion of our meal and never rushed us as we ate. We left a little bit before 5:00 PM, and they were very busy. If you plan on coming during regular dining hours, I recommend making a reservation.
I like to consider myself a sushi connoisseur! I have eaten at many sushi restaurants in my life! Fuji is definitely by far the best sushi I have ever had in my life every single piece of sushi I ate, tasted absolutely amazing, melted in my mouth with deliciousness!
My favorite meal of my week long trip. I wish I'd ate here earlier in week so I could had more than once. This is the only review I left the entire trip.
Highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for Japanese food, friendly fast service, fresh food and large portions with great atmosphere.
The best. The staff is like family and service is always amazing. Original and very tasty menu. Presentation is always top tier. Try the grilled artichoke and thank me later.

Eating KETO and was happy they could accommodate us with "no rice" selections. The sushi was very good and I was glad to be able to sit and eat.
Ate here twice in two days after driving to LA from Georgia. Best sushi I've ever had.
Lots of Nobu-like dishes to tease the pallet. Always solid sushi!
