I'm picky about ice cream, and was prepared for the typical overly sweet, airy, cheap tasting ice cream found at most ice cream shops, but this is actually REALLY GOOD. The mint chip was dense and creamy with a lot of actual flavor not reliant on the overuse of sugar, and with actual big chocolate chips in it. A great find! My husband and I got the impression this place actually cares about ingredients.

Best dairy-free ice cream I’ve had. Ever. So rich and creamy and full of flavor. Also they not only packed the cone with ice cream but put sprinkles in the cone. These girls are gonna grow up to be successful businesswomen for sure. Above and beyond the call of duty. 1000/10 would recommend.
Best ice cream along the east coast! We had a sundae with the Cookie Dough, Chocolate Milk & Cookies, and Campfire flavors. It was delicious! 😋 Super awesome and friendly staff as well!

Wow! Freshly-made ice cream, family -owned, and AMAZING dessert options. Friendly folks, too! We brought some West Coast visitors, some locals ( old and young) and everyone loved this place!
This was a pleasant surprise after lunch. The ice cream was super creamy and really fresh. The brownie sundae was amazing!!
I love ice cream. Really and truly. My favorite part of the northeast is how readily available it is. Harbor Creamery is far from the best. But they have interesting flavor choices (quite enjoyed the sea salt) and the ice cream has a good texture, not icy or hard, and not too sweet. Prices are a bit high, but fair based on quantity. I do wish they offered smaller option for less. The small is quite substantial, but not generous (its a lot of ice cream, but you are paying proportionally, if that makes sense).
Awesome place with options for everyone. They have a great selection of regular flavors and toppings and also offer some non-dairy sorbets. It's in a nice spot too, right in downtown and just a quick walk to the waterfront park. We will be back next time we visit Newburyport. (Regular cookie dough ice cream and very tasty non-dairy mango sorbet pictured)
