Never disappointed. The atmosphere is casual and cozy. The food and service is top notch. It is a favorite for my Dad and I when we have our weekly dinners. Prices can vary depending on what you're looking at but its well worth the money spent

Food was great, came in on Saturday night for my father in laws birthday. My husband order a draft beer the waitress came back 10 minutes later said it wasn’t available my husband has poor luck, we ordered another draft beer she came back said my husband has the poorest luck of anyone she had ever met, the line to that draft beer had broke, that’s not us having poor luck that’s you providing poor service, it was rude to blame your customers for the service.

First time here and we loved it. Everyone loved the food, the atmosphere was great, and our waitress, who was learning the ropes, was friendly with a great sense of humor. We'll definitely be back!

I had the Shrimp Dinner and they were awesome! The shrimp were huge, lightly bread not all breading and no shrimp like you can get elsewhere. The salad was better than normal restaurant salads, a mixture of greens, the cheese, cherry tomatoes, red onion and croutons were in separate parts in case of salad in case you didn’t want them. I had a baked potato also. My husband had a ribs and chicken wing special which was also really good. Our waitress Amanda was very friendly, took our drink order and gave us plenty of time to decide on our order. She went above and beyond as our waitress! I highly recommend if you haven’t been to Red Anchor or if it’s been a while, make a point to go, you won’t be disappointed!

We’ve been in Newaygo for eight months and finally made it here. Escargot, walleye and whitefish were all good. Met everyone around us sitting at the bar. We really enjoyed our experience here and will be putting this place in our dinner rotation.
