Great place and the variety of dishes makes it very different .... where in Newark can you get a good Shrimp and Grits, nice steak and smoked meat under one roof? It's totally worth a try.

My husband and I ordered the Beef Brisket and Beef Rib with sides of Mac and Cheese. The meat fell off the bone and the mac and cheese fell off of the bone. The ambiance is great. A diverse crowd. Looking forward to returning.
I definitely recommend ! Although I was here as a vendor I have already made plans to return with my fiancé. My client had such great feedback and the ambience was on point. The staff was very nice as well and super helpful with anything I asked for.

I really love this place. Good live music, good food and great drinks. The ribs risotto is my favorite along with the caipirinhas and coconut mojito. It can get pretty crowded on weekends. If you like real brazilian samba and a nice party this is the place to go
Have been here twice in less than 4 weeks. Really cute patio and fun variety of tasty cocktails. The patio is very close to a busy road. Pictured is the Watergate (I recommend the Berry Dope), Memphis style pork ribs and Boss Hog sandwich (sandwich was better than the ribs in my opinion).
From out of state headed to the airport, googled food in the area and this place was in the suggested. Wow!! I am SO happy that we stopped for dinner. Delicious cocktails and the food was INCREDIBLY yummy! At first look the parking lot looked small but doesn’t match the restaurant itself at all. Inside and outside was done up so nicely, a very chill setting! Hope to be able to stop in again someday!

I stopped by for happy hour after work, the bartender Josue was very accommodating. He made me a very delicious spicy Margherita! (Not on the menu) I only had appetizers on this visit, but it was very yummy! I ordered calamari ( extra crispy) and deviled eggs. I must say for a simple meal they made the best version I've ever had. I will be back for entrees very soon and to experience the vibe at night. Nice place with outdoor seating, spacious, photos ops throughout even in the bathroom..lol had to take a pic 😉
