The food is ok and staff were friendly while delivering a fast service. However the overall value is not great. Dishes are quite pricey for what you get and it is the first restaurant where we got charged a 10% Covid recovery fee! Seriously, not only we are already helping by going out to eat at restaurants but we are going to get fined for it?

What a great place to eat dinner outside on a warm summer evening! The drink menu is simple, but exciting with creative cocktails and plenty of forest wine and beer options. The staff are friendly and accommodating and were quick with refills and making sure I had everything I needed. I had the Steak and fries and the steak was cooked wonderfully. The whole atmosphere is upscale, but casual and fun at the same time.

I dined here with my small group last night. The food and service was good, but not good enough to justify the backwards handling of the c-19 recovery charge. There are explicit city guidelines regarding how establishments are required to disclose the recovery charge. The most basic and minimal steps for guest awareness were followed by this location. Here’s a list of guidelines NOT offered to my group; - We were not verbally informed of the fee before ordering. - It is not clearly stated on each page of the menu. - It is not in a similar font size to the rest of the menu. - the city of NY clearly states the notice should be at the bottom of each menu page. Not hidden at the top where the user experience is intentionally designed to slip this notice by guests. It’s the only notice available on the menu, btw. I asked the host and our waiter to show me the other locations, which they couldn’t. I’m not one to write poor reviews, but this was handled with incredible distaste, even more so when I questioned it. A forthright conversation and proper notice placement, as laid out by the city, would have kept my patronage. I’m willing to do my part when presented with information appropriately and honestly. Enjoy the extra 10% bc it’s the last time I’ll be dining here.
