Gracie's Corner Diner

The food is usually quite good! Tonight I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich (on pita) with sweet potato fries and a Greek salad. They really marinate the chicken well, it has a pronounced garlic flavor which I happen to like. The fries were crispy and delicious. Nice side of Greek salad with feta, stuffed grape leaves and olives. Totally satisfied! P.S. Anyone who'd give this place a single star review shouldn't be eating in a diner. Unless there's a mouse in your food. It's a diner. Sometimes with old Greek men with heavy accents you have to ask them to repeat. They are not being nasty. You are, if you complain about the service here.

Food was delicious, and that’s of course important. However, for the high prices (which is somewhat expected in this area), I expect slightly better service. Watched our food sit on the warmer for quite some time with no one noticing to bring it to us. Also waited forever for our check. It was mainly because a large group walked in that took a lot of attention, but still. Would still come back probably.

Are you hungry after partying all night? Then go to Gracie's diner. Open 24/7, 365 days a year. This place is super busy, even at night - especially at night. The after party crowds know where to go for a hearty breakfast or cheese burger deluxe. You will get served quickly and the food is great. The staff works like an orchestra. Everybody knows what to do, when to do it, and do it at super speed. They also deliver. Almost perfect - the place just needs a make over. Other than that, this place will take care of your hunger needs.

Was hungry and saw this place on the corner. Liked the neighborhood diner vibe. Place was full - it was Sunday afternoon. I ordered a veggie omelet with rye toast and home fries. Food was fine, not gourmet, but I was satisfied. Server was friendly. Came by twice, refilled my coffee. Price was reasonable. I'd go again if I were in the area.
