Do not pass by this little gem! I met the owner and his sister. They were both very personable. He told us the history of the restaurant and brought us out cheese and olives. He also gave us recommendations. Do NOT pass on the gnocchi-they were to die for!!! I am going to try them again before leaving New York just to be sure. We also had the lobster ravioli and salmon... you can't go wrong... did I mention the garlic bread? ❤

We went here on Saturday night, excellent Osso Bucco, attentive service by all the staff and cozy, very simple "mama's cooking" feel restaurant.

Excellent traditional Italian in old NY setting. All fresh ingredients, superb homemade cheesecake. Attentive and friendly service. Bar area with tv if desired. Recommend for a homemade Italian meal in a fun atmosphere

We popped in for a quick drink after visiting the popular apartment block near by featured in FRIENDS, and we liked it a lot.
Friendly barman We would of eaten if we hadn't already booked else where.
The restaurant was empty but it was early. They seemed to be doing a lot of take out while we were there so I assume they put out some tasty food plus the kitchen smelt fantastic.
We will pop in the next time we are passing for sure!!
