Grey Lady

We came during covid times. They had indoor dining but we chose to do outdoor on a rainy day. They were sooo accommodating. They even brought out dry chairs to exchange the chairs that were went from the rain instead of just wiping down the wet chairs like most places might. The happy hour was from 1pm - 4pm on a Friday. We thought it was 3pm - 6pm. Turns out M - TH is 3pm - 6pm, Fri - Sun is 1pm - 4pm. Happy hour menu: $1 oysters $6 draft beers $8 red wines $10 mimosas and bloody Marys Food was good - the oysters were actually on the thicker side. Some places have like super tiny thin oysters but not this place! Drinks were great. Would recommend!

I came here early on a Friday evening with reservations (recommended). Things I loved: - Atmosphere - really laid back and relaxed - Oysters - at $1 an oyster during happy hour, these were spectacular - Clam Chowder - absolutely delicious. I could not stop eating it. If you come for just one thing, let it be this Things I Didn’t Love As Much: - Lobster Mac and Cheese: I typically love a good lobster Mac but this one left me feeling unsatisfied. The Mac and cheese was way more soupy than gooey - the cheese did not have any pull. The flavor was ok but not spectacular. The price could definitely be lower. Overall, it was a good experience. The clam chowder and oysters were definitely the stars of the show and I would happily return for them.

I really enjoyed happy hour here. Outdoor seating, $1 oysters, $5 beer and $8 craft cocktails were great. Oysters were decent size and fresh. I had no issues with a "boozy" crowd and would be totally comfortable having my 7 year old with me. The burger I ordered was excellent. Really juicy and nice flavor. If you happen to be in the hood and there's an outdoor table open definitely take advantage. Good place.
