Tableside Italian Cook Shoppe

Tableside is my favorite restaurant to go to in the city. My wife and I celebrate all of our special occasions here - we even rented out the entire place for our engagement party. Suitable for a special occasion or dinner on a random weeknight, Tableside is an unpretentious but elevated Italian food restaurant that makes you feel like you’re eating at your grandmother’s kitchen (if you’re grandma is an amazing cook). Their outdoor set up is everything you’re looking for in a COVID world - safe and socially distanced, with heat lamps that make outdoor dining in January completely accessible (we took off our winter coats on a 30 degree night). Restaurant staff and owners always make you feel welcome. Support your small neighborhood businesses!

Amazing food and ambience. They made it an incredible dining experience even though we had no reservations. Our plans fell though elsewhere and we ended up here but I am really happy we did. Some of the best Italian food I have had in a while. Fantastic and friendly service from Nelson and crew. Awesome experience. Definitely will be going back!

This place is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. when I want to go to a decent meal, this restaurant comes straight to my head. outstanding and food and a large menu.great team, and agreeable vibes. And very important, the charge is honest. I sent my friends to this spot with pleasure.

I LOVE this place. They don't take reservations and wait on weekends can be over an hour, but you can put your name down and walk across the street to Grand Central Market to grab a drink because this place is definitely worth the wait. If it's your first time I highly recommend the Bianchi Neri or their Osso Bucco. I always gravitate towards their Bianchi Neri pasta. The noodles are al dente, sauce is flavorful and not too thick, and shrimp perfectly cooked. For dessert, I recommend their Olive Cake or tiramisu. I'm not a fan of sweet desserts so these two are just the right amount of savory and sweetness to top off the dinner.
