Very yummy food!! I was pleasant surprised how good this place was. The really enjoyed the fried chicken wings. Tasted fresh and the flow it was suttle and just right. The new place is inviting. The service was friendly. This is right in the heart of Chinatown. Definitely recommend this place! Check it out for sure.

Small but busy Malaysian restaurant with tons of Malaysian dishes. Curry combo with rice was great but not a lot of chicken/ beef in it. Only assam laksa was available so we couldn’t get the original version. Had to rush out but would visit again!

i give this relocated malaysian restaurant a try, because it used to be good at prior location. Ordered hainanese chicken leg rice. I like the chicken texture, thin chicken skin. The dipping sauce on the side was tasty too - green onion and ginger , and the sour and garlic. There was three things was done wrong in the dish. First, uncooked rice, not just a few piece, almost in every spoonful of rice. Second, the bottom layer of soy sauce, that is unnecessary. Third, a piece of chicken has blood. I didnt like the whole experience at the restaurant while the waiters talking out loud as if there is no customer. The one standing near the kitchen talk to the front desk. If the food was good, I will order to-go. However, there are more options in the area.

Recently, I stopped by the area and was pleasantly surprised that the underpass alleyway was renovated. There are just a few other spots tucked in the same alley, which makes me wonder if these restaurants are losing money because of the inconspicuous location. No matter because.. I've been to this restaurant numerous times and each and every time their dishes surprise me with how fresh and flavorful they are! My sister and I order a casserole (soup) and an entree to share knowing that the portions were big enough for two. Originally we wanted the fried snapper dish, but sadly they did not have the fish that day except for carp and stingray. It seems that many of the items on the menu were unavailable at the time- my sister was craving shaved iced cream but they were out of it. Nonetheless, the waitress was patient and gracious to suggest alternatives. We forgot all about the snapper and dessert in the end, and were fully satisfied with our meal!

We were hoping for a very authentic Malaysian meal and only got an average Malaysian meal. The Nasi Lemak had the hard boiled egg, peanuts and cucumbers, the rice wasn't flavored, the ikan bilis was a homemade sambal with mostly onions but the curry was a decent Chinese chicken curry. The Char Kway Teow was pretty good with a nice char taste and they didn't skimp on the shrimp. Because of that they got a 4 and not a 3.

1/15/22 delivery: Had the roti canai and the curry beef brisket noodle soup with broad noodle (both excellent, 5* dishes), and the coconut seafood fried rice (decent, 3.75*, wouldn't order again as not much flavor or even coconut taste).

Wow what a hidden gem I would like to say I ordered the roti canai and hainanese chicken and I've seen the complaints people had with the roti canai honestly it is a bit rougher in the texture compared to my likings at other spots I wish it was softer and crisper but either way it was still fantastic the curry chicken they gave a big piece of chicken in the curry that comes with the roti canai honestly not the best roti canai and therefor 1 star off it could've been done better but the hainanese chicken now was a blast the rice was nice and fluffy texture was just right a good flavor but not salty which is good it can compliment well with the sauce or else it it's too salty a lot of places has it a bit more salty if that your preference cool but for me I like the flavors more that compliments each other better without all the salt it's a bit overwhelming honestly the chicken now is nice and soft great texture really cheap price only 11 dollars u get all that could you believe it? Even thought they prefer cash which is good because it pasts down the savings to us customers the chicken has a very nice all around taste now another reason why there's a star off is because the consistency in the pieces some of them the textures were better than the other? Maybe it's because the parts? I'm not sure I really like how it isn't as salty as other places that way you can let the sauce compliment everything and let me tell you this sauce is really good honestly much better than most of the other spots I've tried and been to!!! It is truly something very special not too salty again but the flavors and aroma would put you on blast definitely will feel so much better after eating this so far everything is good and staff actually handed me napkins while I was low wow that some pretty good service right there because most places never do that for you overall a hidden small spot that easy to miss but if you do happen to discover it you should definitely come in and try some I recommend the hainanese chicken and the curry chicken or the honey glazed beef those are the quality standards for this kind of cuisine :)

Kind of a hidden gem. Absolutely delicious food in a non pretentious setting, low key interior, attentive and fast service. The menu selection could be overwhelming but I enjoyed everything we’ve tried so far. Will be coming back to try more.
