We stumbled on this lace because it was right next to Rockefeller Center and we didn’t want to go to Korean town for Korean food.
The staff was very friendly compared to what people typically said about New Yorkers. We had a sit down dinner but was too tired to do the grill cooking so we asked if they could just cook it for us. Come to find out the grill is there for them to cook FOR you. So...we lucked out. 😁
Oh yes, the environment was very comfortable. A/C was running. You actually go underground for the restaurant. Not sure what the top floor is for. Probably when they are busy.

Was my first time trying Kimchi. It was a surprisingly wonderful experience. Although the kimchi itself is an acquired taste, i loved their spicy chicken fried rice

We didn't have a good experience. The service was really bad and disinterested. We had to get up several times to ask for things or get them ourselves.
Seating is downstairs with no windows. Sides are what would be expected at any Korean restaurant.
Can't really recommend.
