I used to came here at least once every NYC office visit I had from my base town Amsterdam.
Because of Covid haven't been here for 2.5y
Took my family on a NYC trip this year and we happened to be in the area during lunch time so I took the family!
It's still as good as my last visit a while ago.
Highly recommended! Well priced, good quality dishes and above all delicious!

The food here runs toward the more authentic side of Mexican cuisine. I had nachos. You order at the counter here and build your own dish a la Chipotle. The one downer was that it was a tiny bit expensive. Nachos and a medium fountain drink: $17.

Ate there twice, first was a burrito. Solid choice, not expecting much after being spoiled with great places around San Diego. Second visit 3 blue corn chicken tacos were better. Prefer to support the locals vs hitting a chain. For a few bucks more than Chipotle across the street, give this place a shot.

For a small little place, surrounded by many many other larger restaurants, the food here was AMAZING! and the portion sizes were well beyond what you’d expect from anything in NYC. Not to mention some of the best I’ve had in a while. Very decently priced and the staff was extremely friendly! If you’re in the area I highly suggest stopping by!

Loved it! We went in 10 mins before closing time and we still had friendly service (rare anywhere in the world imo). The whole family was there preparing to close, it was actually heartwarming to see how close knit they are ❤️ Had a quesadilla and a burrito, both were great! Good ingredients, fast preparation, friendly service! What else can you ask for? Highly recommend!

The best thing about Blue Maiz is there they are not stingy when it comes to the toppings!!
So. Much. FOOD.
This place is similar to Chipotle, but BETTER to me! Blue Maiz offers bowls that you can create with your favorite meats and veggies and they give you PLENTY OF IT.
My naked burrito bowl included shredded chicken, fajita veggies, onions, lettuce, sour cream, corn salsa, guacamole, and cheese. I’m happy that I was able to get elotes as well!
Took me two times to eat and I still didn’t finish!
