Friendly folks serving an authentic NY slice - big & foldable with excellent red sauce & variety of fresh toppings to choose from. Delicious gluten free crust option also. Excellent green salad with strawberries, goat cheese & balsamic dressing. Homey, hole in the wall.

Many years ago when I worked on Wall Street, our company had account with Grotto... and we got free lunch. I recall it was some of the best Italian food I had in my life. Now, many years later... after dreaming about their food. I ended up back in NYC for a week and made sure my hotel was booked next to it, so I could eat here as often as I can. My favorite, is their fried ravioli with honey mustard, their penne ala vodka, their baked ziti and you must try their curly fries, which is the best fries you will have in this lifetime ❤️

OMG it was amazing don't think I can eat one anywhere else now... I am just waiting for some time on my schedule so can go down and sit and try whatever they have to offer lol.

The customer service on the phone isn't as warm and friendly to my liking nor was I fond of the Jamaican beef patty. The beef patty was burned and the edges were hard to chew. But, the grilled chicken rigatoni and sausage penne was outstanding !! Very filling and delicious!! I will try them again when I'm in the area.

The girlfriend and I wanted some Mexican food. This place was our second choice as the first choice was closed for a private event.

Got here during the midday lunch rush and was pleasantly surprised. Good food, friendly staff and even found a seat for me and 3 of my friends thanks to some friendly patrons. I will definitely revisit one I'm back in NYC.
