Very good sushi spot. Everything from the service to the food was excellent. As we were ordering our waiter was very courteous to warn us that we were ordering a ton of food for 3 people. Nevertheless we stuck to it and ordered what we intended. I don’t think we left any food on our plates even the desserts. First thing you need to take whatever their recommendations are for the sake. It’s an amazing selection. Then order an omakase as you can’t go wrong with it. You can have their salmon avocado rolls and stuff similar to what you’d find at any other sushi restaurant, the magic is in their omakase. My only regret is not getting a seat at the counter which only gives me more reason to come back. The dessert must be mentioned. Everything is good but the matcha creme brûlée is unbelievably good.

The first thing I want to compliment is their incredibly attentive guest service. My water was always full, as was my sake glass. When I walked away to use the restroom, they folded my napkin for me to come back to. And we had a complimentary appetizer from the chef. I had the sushi omakase and when I tell you it is genuinely some of the best sushi I have ever had. Not only a testament to how fresh the fish is, but also a testament to how they cook their rice to complement the fish. Well worth the price.

This place is so cool. The sushi is so fresh it melts in your mouth. I had a great experience with omakase at the sushi bar. I would recommend anyone who can to try it. Is expensive but it is worth it at least once.

The setting is nice and interesting with two parallel and almost identical rooms and a counter in the back. Service is excellent. We were a bit disappointing because their fish and rice are high quality but they tend to spoil the raw flavors by adding too much unnecessary noise on their sushi - like scallions, jalapeno, yuzu, microgreens, spices, horseradish, and so on. Prices are fair.

The food can be amazing if you pick the right things, so there are a few general guidelines to stick to to ensure you have a good experience here: 1) Ordering sushi a la carte is a pretty big no-no. The 10 piece sushi set costs ~$45 vs. the average individual piece costing ~$10. You do the math :) 2) One of our desserts was bland and boring (Chestnut roll), but the other one was mindblowingly delicious (matcha brulee) 3) The apps are generous, and the trio tartar specifically is both unique and delicious. The sweet potato chips are thin and crispy, without being "hard" like most of the others you'll find out there. Service was a highlight here as well, they have ninja-staff serving you at this restaraunt. We were 100% taken care of the entire time, but we barely noticed the staff as they ensured all of our needs were met almost in "stealth mode".

Overall excellence - lack of bad pieces, great texture on uni, excellent savor and great texture on rice. It could be a bit salty and acidic, depending on preference

A high style, very good sushi joint, with exceptional service. The ambiance is unique, and the service is impeccable. The sake and wine selection are excellent. We enjoyed several rolls, sashimi and sushi. It's not quite the best sushi or Japanese restaurant I've been to, but it's one of the best.

Truly fantastic. Full disclosure, I haven't been to many omakase [2nd time actually), but had a real enjoyable dining experience. I love the design of the place, as I am not keen on stuffy formal places. Sitting on the counter and watching the staff in front prepare the food makes it even tastier. We had the tasting menu, so outside the outstanding sushi, the first meals were fenomenal. It is pricey, just as you expect from a high quality omakase (about $700 for 2 with 2 bottles of sake) but was totally worth it.
