Wow. We really enjoyed our dinner here. We filled up on the delicious apps - and had two chicken dishes for entrees. The garlic chicken was very yummy - Everything was really tasty. Nice ambiance, friendly service, and convenient to the Q train. Would recommend for a neighborhood gem.

Outstanding food. Some of the best red lentil soup I've had. Also try the chicken with artichokes & the moussaka. Side salad was chunky, not lettuce. Tomatoes, cucumbers & more.

Located right next to another local favorite - Persepolis - this place has apparently been around for several years and was recently renamed. Visited for Saturday lunch and my wife and I happened to be the only guests. We got started with the fasulye pilaki, which tasted fresh, slightly tangy, and quite nice. We followed up with the chicken iskender kebab and okra, which were quite tasty and filling. Unfortunately they were out of Adana kebab, which seemed to be worth trying.

Go elsewhere. This place is overpriced and the staff is nasty. They charge $8.50 for hummus which they put in a tiny paper soup container. A La Turka on the corner has hummus that’s 3 times the portion and the same price. It’s just as good. I know restaurants are struggling but this place is not worth it.
