Friendly, industrious staff. Classy and classic Irish pub vibe but with tons of lively sport viewing. Love the food there. Just a solid NYC spot, can't recommend enough! Owner can be a bit much though ;)
its a very nice place to o have a few drinks and chat and watch sports and enjoy some of the food they have in the menu and every one so nice.
Nice bar, bartenders are friendly, food was good. It's been a while since I lived in New York but it's the first NYC bar that I didn't receive a buy back.... It's a bit disappointing, maybe NYC has changed in the 10 years or maybe it's the area .....midtown!! Too touristy. But all in all worth a stop over 😁
I would gladly eat every meal for the rest of my life here. Fish and chips were on point. Steak and stout pie is the best I've had since living in England. Shepherd's pie was fantastic. The waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. No complaints at all, I can't wait to return!!

Serendipity. Jack Demsey's has been around for a loooong time. I remember passing by the bar while sightseeing NYC as a youngster.
So it was with delighted pleasure that me, my wife and two friends turned the corner on 33rd St., and spied the marquee, while on our way to the Empire State Building Observatory. With a little arm twisting on my part, I convinced my companions we had to eat a meal here. All of us are glad we did.
Terrific service, exhaustive pub foods menu, and the comfortable feel of a corner bar.
The four of us ordered all around the menu, and all came away satisfied. My meal way Irish Stout Beef Stew; a bracing bowl of beef in a bold gravy. The flaky loaf of "bread" topping the bowl was almost ethereal in taste.
My wife ordered the bar's Irish Chicken, breast white meat pounded thin and sauced with a honeyed gravy. Her comment was: "this is just about the best chicken l've ever tasted."
One friend ordered the Turkey Burger, and received a fresh, large, hand-pressed burger done exactly right. Our other friend ordered the Chicken Salad over greens. The salad presented was only slightly smaller than a soccer ball.
This was a great find for us.

B was happy with his Bangers and Mash and my Steak Frites weren’t half bad. From what the people at the table next to us said, it’s normal there (during UK games, at least) to have to go to the bar and ask for menus then wait 30-45 minutes for someone to take your order.
Not the traditional bar going type, but I really like this place. Been there twice since I moved back to NYC to catch some fights. It's a really unique crowd, a lot of customers from all around the world, international staff as well. Not like a stereotypical wild/loud American sports bar, it has a much more relaxed or respectful feel I think. Never seen a harder working restaurant/bar staff either to be honest, they come to you - so you never have to wait on them or struggle to get their attention. 5 stars all across the board for me.
Decent Irish Pub. Right next to the Empire State Building. Fresh food, good size portions. Prices were reasonable. Although we went Sunday night, they have lots of happy hour specials Monday through Thursday. I would come again. Bathrooms clean but downstairs.

Dropped in on Mon I think. The service was very welcoming and sociable. The prices are well within reason for the quality. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I liked.
(All my reviews are overall) Wasn't anywhere on the plans but was absolutely thrilled to find this place. Went in Thanksgiving and they had the Thanksgiving platter. Best turkey by far. Everything on that plate was absolutely delicious! Had TVs showing the Macy's parade and football games. Part bar part restaurant. That being said, was not loud at all. Very nice place and happy to have come across it! All around, amazing!

This bar is awesome. Had so much fun here. The food is fantastic. We are here before a show at MSG after the show we went back. The bartender was great and attentive will definitely go back next time I'm in New York
A favorite NY stop in late December while waiting for Christmas. Speaking of that, aside from the great beer menu the food was a hit with my friends. Third weekend in December the place enjoys its share of Santa's!
