Beautiful setting and exquisite service at this upper west side staple. Enjoy a fine meal in this romantic yet casual setting on Broadway just blocks from the subway and down the street from the Beacon theater and the Met. The food was excellent and the champagne was better. The wine list is quite extensive. Couldn’t find anything negative to say about this restaurant, it’s a bit pricey but if you want to treat yourself, your family, or a date to some great Italian food, then go for this place. They have several locations throughout Manhattan, finding a table won’t be difficult. Enjoy!
I came here for a Christmas Party with my job. We had a private room. My food was ok...I had the salmon it was tasty could have had more flavor or salt. I also ordered the ceaser salad that was a dub. I should have gotten the arugula salad instead. I had a jack and ginger as a drink and the soda was flat. The Moscato I had was everything, I drunk 3 of those. The atmosphere was blah it was too dark . To be honest I wasn't impressed maybe it was the food choices. I've definitely had better.

Great location to have dinner before a show at the Beacon or just a good meal. There are several locations throughout NYC. The service and food is consistent at all locations. I had the POLLO MILANESE, Free range chicken breast, breaded & sautéed with arugula tomatoes & basil. Very large portion. My wife had the SERAFINA BURGER, Wagyu beef, fontina cheese, avocado, caramelized onions & French fries which she loved and states it’s one of the best burgers in town. Vibrant atmosphere. Good for a date night or just a good meal with friends.
I came here for lunch during the week on a Thursday.
We ate a pizza pie each.
My pizza pie, the “Tartufo Nero” ($32) was really yummy!
My hubby’s pizza pie “Di Vittorio” ($29) was decent.
Service was really good!
The restaurant looked very clean.
To me personally Serafina doesn’t really feel warm or lively.
Maybe during dinner time there’s more life and atmosphere, that’s definitely possible.
But I don’t necessarily see us coming back as Serafina mainly offers pizzas and pastas.
Even though the menu has a lot of choices, the dishes don’t really stand out if that makes sense.
It was a nice lunch for that day, as we came from AMNH, but we’re just fine with the $16 pizza pie around the corner from where we live.
We were there spontaneously in the evening and were offered a good table.
The food (we had two pizzas) surprised us. The pizzas were really good (we usually eat pizza directly in Italy) and they were large.
Service was friendly and fast.
Only thing: it's quite loud in the restaurant.
We will definitely be back again!
Loved it. The appetizers we ordered (fried calamari, meatballs, tuna and salmon tartare) were delicious. For entrees we enjoyed the eggplant parmesan, lobster ravioli and sea bass..all were delicious. Definitely coming back.
The specials were thoughtful this night, one with squid ink pasta with seafood..yum! We also had lasagna and a couple other items. The food was fine and the service was fine. Definitely recommend a stop in for a cozy interior and good food. Don't forget desert!
Brought my two young kids here for dinner. We loved its quick seating and service. Kids were happy and I was happy with my meal.
Even tried the Judean wine. Worth the bottle.
Had a dinner with my family, I love Italian cuisine. My favorite here was the truffle pizza, just fantastic. Great choice of pastas, salads and mains. Kids love butter cheese pasta.
Highly recommended.
We went here for dinner our first night in New York. We were seated right away on the pretty patio. Carlos was our server and he was prompt and friendly with good timing. I had the ravioli porcini and it was excellent. My husband had the spaghetti carbonera and it was fantastic. Good food and great service , at a good price .
