The food was good and the portions were nice but the space is a little tight. I also think they could add some better drink options.

small space inside + friendly + quick service. $60 matador combo was perfect for 4 - included whole rotisserie chicken + avocado salad + tostones + fries and salchicha/salchipapas + plate of red beans and yellow rice. ask for the green + spicy/kick salsa.

Saw salchipapa pics and I’m fulfilled now haha. Sausage and fries just go so well together, such a great snack with any sauce you want. The combo is a good set for groups, which is what our group of 4 ordered. It was nice to make a plate for yourself, bc the portions were generous. Chicken was tasty and juicy, green sauce went well with eveeything. Nd the salad saved us from too much meat. Tostones were also such a good snack with their garlic dipping sauce. Staffs were friendly and the sangria was strong but tasty, inca kola was fun to try. i would love to come back and try their lucuma ice cream and fried yuca, and have more salchipapa nd tostones :)

Food came fast! Matador combo, fed three people but easily could feed four. Comes with salad, and other great items like fried banana, fries with hot dogs and that juicy chicken. Price has been going up though, up to $50 now.

Great place. The meal deal for the chicken, salad, fries, patacones, etc. is a bargain. Especially for NYC. My daughter had the lomo saltado. Delicious. My wife is Peruvian and she approved. 😂

The Peruvian food here is delicious!! The service was phenomenal as well! This place is a gem in NYC! And as a Peruvian myself, I can attest to the fact that all of the food here is authentic! The green sauce here is the best I’ve ever had. Not to mention the portion sizes are also huge!! I’ve been here many times but yesterday, my mom and I had dinner here for her birthday, and everything was perfect!! We had the calamari to start! It was crispy and cooked to perfection! Then as our entree we had a combo that included a whole chicken, french fries, and salad!! It was so much food! And we even had enough to take home for lunch the next day! For dessert, the girls came and sang happy birthday to my mom and brought us traditional , Peruvian lucuma ice cream!! I love coming here! If you’ve never had Peruvian food, give this place a shot!! You will NOT regret it! P.S. The food is SO delicious, I always dig in right away and forget to take pictures, but I included the ones I managed to get anyways lol.

One of my favorite places for a quick, affordable, and delicious dinners in nyc. 2-4 people can get a chicken and sides for about $40! Highly recommend the fried yucca and maduros. Get extra sauce! This location doesn’t have the best atmosphere, inside is small. The one in Hell’s Kitchen has excellent dining room!

Looking for a spot to catch a late dinner @ 10pm on a Sunday night can be disappointing but luckily Pio Pio was still open until 11:00pm. I've been to the other locations in Jackson Heights, Upper East side, and the Midtown West. This location is cozy and the food was consistently delicious. Ordered the Matador Combo and Chicken Empanadas, was able to feed 3 with comfortably. The food is really satisfying and flavorful. Service was very good too.

Amazing food! Amazingly tasty! Amazingly everything! We had the Lomo saltado and I had half a chicken with yellow rice and red beans and a side of salad. The dressing in the salad was tangy, kind of like a garlic/Italian/Caesar vinaigrette flavor. The rice was cooked perfect! The red beans are kidney beans and they were flavorful. The steak and peppers with fries under and white rice was juicy and despite the fries being in sauce it still tasted amazing! The chicken has this cumin delicious moist flavor! (Didn’t take a pic) People are nice! Will I go back? Of course!!!!!
