Hale And Hearty Soups--ninth Avenue

Dinner: The staff was excellent. Very knowledgeable and accommodating to any and all allergies. Vibe is old school fine dining. Formal but felt sort of 80s for some reason. Didn't love the feel of the magnitude of the restaurant but that's a personal preference. It was very cozy though, I must say. For value this place is good as you get a lot for the cost. I am extremely picky about Italian food however, especially upscale, and I was disappointed with the food here. It was quite average and I was put off from the very basic and unimaginative amuse bouche. I would not return but for someone who wants fine dining on a budget and isn't picky about food then this is perfect for that type.

What I love about this place is how healthy the choices. I'm trying to make a lifestyle change but it's hard finding places that serves food made from scratch that won't break my wallet. Hale and Hearty is a good balance and their portions are surprisingly filling! They give you a side of bread to dip into their soup and for some reason, I never get tired of trying out the different flavors. Their menu changes every day so that's another plus as well.

Chain store but if it's in Chelsea Market it's clean and healthy. Not to salty and a large bowl of finger licking soup. I love to get a bowl with oyster crackers. Everyone gets their choice and meets up at one of the tables for a nice meal on a cold wintery day. They do have the basic everyday soups-combo with sandwich and salad. I only tried the soup/Vegetable.

This is a chain but it is reliable and I love the fact it is always clean, fast and welcoming. I got their Chicken quinoa soup and it is hearty, healthy and full of fiber! I am glad they provided healthy options for diners and they list calories so I know how much I have consumed. I just wish the price is lower!
