Great staple spot for Italian, never disappointed. We had the pesto, porcini, and gnocchi pasta. The pesto and mushroom pastas are incredible, highly recommend those!

The food here is just like what they serve in Italy! We really liked every pasta (carbonara, funghi, and even the pesto, which I normally wouldn’t order).

Beautiful place. I really enjoyed the beets. Though I found the pizza an pasta to be good, not great.

A nice Italian restaurant, surprisingly well priced for the area that it is in. The portions are slightly less than an average American portion. The wait staff are all so fun and friendly and will make up for any short service. They are also very generous with their time and don't kick out parties having fun. We were a lively bunch of 5, causing a bit of ruckus and were so thankful the staff was so kind to us. The whole place was rather loud anyway and it is also dimly lit for mood.

Good experience. Fresh ingredients, simply prepared, accessible wine list (every wine available by the glass, carafe, or bottle - nothing fancy but decent table wine - I admit to being a snob). Flourless chocolate cake was incredible. Pastas were very good. Very good prices. Staff is hustling so the experience is not particularly relaxing/paced but that’s reasonable at this price point.

Food & service were excellent. The pizza was very good and the roasted chicken was perfectly tender with salty, crisp and flavorful crust. The lasagna is very heavy and meaty—not for the faint of heart. Check this place out if you want good Italian food and friendly service!

One of the best Italian reasturants in NYC. Everything was fresh and tasty, the staff was very friendly and professional. Would definitely go there again very soon.

First off, walking here was a joy. The West village is really nice and very relaxed, of course. There's a lot of hustle and bustle. But much calmer than other areas. As me and my wife walk through there. We enjoyed looking at all. The brownstones and renovated buildings. Definitely inspired us to move if we could lol Anyways, the restaurant is on the corner, it was very busy but very accommodating at the same time. We arrived about 45 minutes early and were able to be seated. The food amazing, the noodles definitely homemade. They had such a beautiful texture and tenderness to them, but just enough resistance to know that it's not a pre-made pasta. The spaghetti Alla carbonara, is what I had which was amazing. Super creamy, super flavorful and super simple to make when done correctly. I had also gotten the fennel sausage with gorgonzola polenta. Definitely different but still very good. My wife had gotten the lasagna, it was incredibly hearty but incredibly tasting as well. Everything was done so well , it mesh so well and everything was so tasty, the sauce was not acidic at all. So therefore you can enjoy it and not feel like you're swallowing acid lol 10 out of 10 would come back, and was not very expensive. We got a appetizer, two entrees, glass of wine, ginger ale and a dessert. Came out to around $90, which I believe wasn't bad.

Must order the calamari! We made a booking but there were plenty of empty tables. Service was friendly and carbonara was also very good.
