The most delicious and quickly served food. We love this place, especially the chutney! Don’t hesitate!

Best chai in town. Hot or cold. Great vegetarian sandwiches. And of course, the eponymous chutneys! Mango is my favorite. Also, every single person who I have interacted with over the past twenty years has been exceptionally friendly and helpful even at the busiest times ; )

I craveee their chicken curry over rice with chutney - I would visit the Amagansett location every summer and now living in the city, I'm so happy to be able to have it delivered! Mango chutney is my favorite but they're all delicious🤤If you're a coffee fan give the cardamom coffee a try!

Good doses albeit not the most traditional in terms of fillings (although you can get a simple basic one). A tad pricy but a good option for a quick casual bite in SOHO.

The dosas and chutneys are out of this world. Great option for when on the go. Something for everyone.
*Masks and safety precautions were in place for COVID. After ordering food we waited outside (a very short time) and our order was brought to us.

Love the Masala dosa (traditional) with mango/cilantro chutney. They’ve been around for 19 years in the SoHo area for a reason!

Dropped in for a light dinner before an evening class. I had a grilled chicken (nicely grilled and chopped), spinach and onions on an uttapam (kinda like a thin pancake), and it hit the spot. Good amount, pretty fast, nicely spiced but not too spicy (there are spicier dishes, but my digestion ain't what it once was). I'd go again and sample other flavors.
Cafeteria atmosphere.

This is one of my wife's favorite lunch spots in the neighborhood. We go any time we are in the area. The dosas are so different and delightfully fun to eat. They have meat and vegetarian options, and the different flavors of chutney sauces that go with the dosas are so good.
My only complaint used to be that the food was bigger than the tables. They have since gotten slightly bigger tables, but these things are still enormous! However they are much lighter than they appear, and you can actually eat the whole thing pretty easily. And you don't feel too full or bloated afterwards.
Give it a try!

Good varieties of dosa. Chutneys served were bit cold. Bit pricey compared to the portions served. Overall food tasted good.

We LOVE this place. Great food! Family friendly! The orange ginger iced tea is delicious! The upper west side location closed, and I brought my two kids on three trains to get here because it is that good. Bring back the other location!
