A.O.C is such a great space! It seems like a lot of the other restaurants on the block but venture out to the back and that outdoor space is something to behold. With a mural of Paris on the wall, song with the perfect setting to transport you out or NYC, it can't be beat. Their starter bread comes out warm and it's great, the waiters are super courteous and the rest of the food was great. From the steak with potato and salad (which I thought was an odd combination but turned out to be quiet good) to the chicken on the menu with a surprisingly sweet sauce and fries. I liked everything we got and I can't wait to go back.

I had the carbonera pasta dish which was pretty good and tasty and it came with a raw egg aka "protein shot." lol. Big chunks of bacon came in the dish which was a pleasant surprise. Normally there are just bacon flakes or smAll pieces in most carbonera. Portion was average, for a man I'd say. I ran through pretty effortlessly. The lady had the truffle mac and cheese. It was filling and rich. If you're not starving, that can easily be a meal of its own. The prices are about average for a date night spot in New York. Not really a "value" here but not anything ridiculous. A couple could eat here for about 60-70 bucks after tip and tax provided you go the water route. Add drinks and 100 total will be in your future quick. I used a Groupon here as well. Check to see if they're still running it. Pretty helpful. Our server was pretty rude as well. Apparently her excuse was "I been here all day." - Fred

Totally phenomenal casual French restaurant. Usually French is expensive and stuffy but not here. Decent price, cute restaurant and nice outdoor seating in back. Has all the classics you want along with delicious updated cuisine. Staff is very nice too!

Honestly all around great. Felt like I was back in Paris in a neighborhood restaurant. A refreshingly peaceful spot in the village, with a quieter atmosphere, incredible service, wide variety of French and non French wines, and great food. It’s probably not going to be the most incredible French food you’ve ever eaten, but it’s very good and combined with the ambiance and service, it’s a win. Sit in the garden if it’s a pretty day! Happy hour is til 6pm and has $6 house wine.

Nice cozy west village restaurant. Had Daurade Sauce Vierge and Classic Coq au Vin - no complaints at all, which is a perfect finish of our "Wonder Woman" night on Sunday.

Cute French spot - great service, really good wine and good food - we had the cheese plate for 3 (fruits are super fresh and there’s a generous portion of cheese). The goat cheese phyllo was good but not outstanding. Love the vibe and the decor!

This is one of our favorite breakfast spots! Opens nice and early and doesn’t disappoint. Lovely staff and the best atmosphere- it can be super busy but never feels crowded or cramped. Love the home fries, lamb sausages and bowls of coffee!

Really good service and everyone enjoyed their dinner. This place feels like a Parisian brasserie.

Came here for the first time with my boyfriend and we LOVED it. we sat in the garden at about 9pm and it was so lovely. I ordered the lamb sausages and although they were delicious, I was hoping that the portion would have been even just slightly bigger for the price you pay. Our waiter was wonderful, recommended the wine we ordered which was great, and overall very attentive. Had a great time :)
