Ajisai Japanese Restaurant

The best quality sushi for a good price. All the classic dishes that you'd expect are on the menu so if someone doesn't like sushi they can get another food entre. When I go with a friend, or even a date, they have a "Sushi for 2" deal which is $48 about and this split between two people is the perfect amount of food (plus they give a soup or salad to each person). This place is not wheelchair accessible since it's an awkwardly long restaurant and it can get tight especially when they are busy (around 5-6 pm is busy). The staff is eh, they could be nicer which is why I didn't give 5 stars.

We only had sushi and some apps but all of the menu looks really good. Our food came out fast, fresh, and tasty. It's not a very large restaurant as most others in the city so it packs in quick. We must have gotten in before the dinner rush so they were able to accommodate a larger party. My only wish was more variety in their specialty rolls. There are not too many but the ones we had were awesome.

Stopped here by chance (and some other good reviews) on a weekend adventure to NYC. Food was delicious! And quick service (it was about 530pm on a Thursday). I ordered the Sweetheart role and a shrimp tempura roll, fiance' ordered a mystic roll, something with tuna and mango and the Sushi delux (sashimi). Wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary before hitting Broadway! Definitely suggest this place!
