Superb food served in a chic stylish surrounding. All the dishes had wonderfully different and unique flavors. Great cocktails as well. A bit pricey, but sometimes you do get what you pay for.
It's was nice place in midtown to hangout .I love nba I heard the bad words for this place .but I visited this place just because of mj but when I taste the food here it was superb as like mj dunk ..... good service and good ambience...
When people visit from Europe, I always suggest to go for steaks, a suggestion rarely discarded unless people are vegetarian or...told all steaks in the US are full of hormones! So, as we had to plan a dinner with my brother and nephew, I was looking for a steakhouse with a great setting and decided to go to Michael Jordan's Steakhouse in Grand Central Station, combining the eating with sightseeing.
First, Grand Central Station is a grand venue to have a meal. Sure, the whole idea is a commercial tourist trap conception, but a nice restaurant in a train station cannot be all bad, and it was not. Price was consistent with decent restaurants in mid town at about $225 or so for two. The food was very good, we had salmon and tuna entrees. The service was very professional and we would definitely go back. A good wine list as well. Enjoy!

Awesome service and good food. Staff is so friendly and professional. They made me feel like a "rock star" in front of my clients. Brought the family there last Sunday, they were even better with the kids.

How beautiful. We ate here for a special occasion and it was such a great choice! Eating in Grand Central station was amazing and the food was great too! Couldn't have asked for better! Highy reccomend!

Inside Grand Central Station. A very busy place to be, everyone is running to get from one place to the next. We ate at Michael Jordan's Steakhouse which is inside Grand Central. We had a view of all the people while we ate our steak.
Came here for my fiance's birthday which I informed them when I made the reservation. They gave us a really good table with a great view. The service was excellent and the food was so freaking good as well. I will be coming back
One for one. My first visit was amazing. The streak and wine were some of the best ever. My second visit was just ok. I need to give this place another try. The staff are understated compared to Morton's.

Amazing food in an amazing building! Great service and great prices! Great food! You must go!!!!! Call first & ask for a table overlooking the terminal... We loved it. I see a few bad reviews but let's be honest.. Some people actually think McDonald's burgers are really good.. LOL. Some people just get bad experiences for a reason let's face it. I go here at least twice every visit to NYC and go to the Chicago one too.
Excellent value for money with the "fast track" lunch time menu. Be careful with ordering extra sides, as these can make the meal pricey. Just be sure to actually tell them that you don't have much time if you're in a hurry as time can pass quite quickly in this very nice place. The steaks and vegetable sides were excellent, but I think they need to practice more in making fries. The included salad as a starter was gigantic (for a starter) and we were really pleasantly full for just having had lunch at such a nice restaurant.
The crab cake appetizer was so amazing. Our waiter was extremely nice and brought us everything fairly quickly.
The complaints I have is that they have 3 bathroom stalls for all of the people in the restaurant so sometimes there is was line. They are also ridiculously pricey for their food and portion sizes but I guess you're more paying for the name of the restaurant.
And our filet was a little too peppery but the food was great and without the background noise of Grand Central, it was a great dinner.
I am a native New Yorker and will keep to the directness of how we are known to be :)
Food: Excellent! Salad, the mac & cheese and steak are excellent here!
Drinks: Excellent. Great wine.
Space: Very elegant and decadent, but the best part is that you are in Grand Central Terminal! So it's a really great view and different dining experience. Picture it: the marble stair case, the constellation etched ceiling, white glove service. The bar is large and generally filled with commuters who like to drink before getting on their train. :)
Scene: People watching. Romantic. Great place to bring a date or impress your girlfriend. This place is always packed with commuters waiting for the Metro North.
Crowd: 20-50s Pick-up scene. Great for date night or get togethers. Bar is fun and has the occasional drank to much and have to run to my train people :)
Service: Excellent, very courteous & professional.
Fun, convenient, somewhat tasty, and pricey I think are some words that strike me after my experience here. I thought their fries were pretty good. It is worth a visit. My son enjoys going there with his grandmother. Of course the setting is really interesting to see people running to catch trains or just waiting around.
From the moment we entered the venue the staff mirrored the grand surroundings. The food we had was flawless. I wish I could have finished the plates. The staff did mention the portions were big but we couldn't resist the choice. I would definitely go back to eat there any day of the week
The BEST! An amazing experience and great food! The service started off a little slow but the manager changed that. The food was delicious! My finicky son ate all his food and tried and liked some new things. He got a photo of Michael Jordan and we saw his private room. Best experience and dining ever!!!
