Whilst visiting NY discovered this restaurant. They were able to accommodate us as a walk in and whilst busy it appeared to have enough tables to accommodate walk-ins at any time. Menus are on the table as place mats and there's a wide selection to choose from. Sam our server came over and introduced himself, he talked us through the drinks menu and even offered a sample of one to help us choose. We went for super sized cocktails and these were big! Just the right amount of alcohol too .
We ordered the 10 piece boneless sticky wings starter to share, with mains of baby back ribs & steak and the BBQ brisket burger. We also ordered a side of Mac & cheese.
This is where the service fails, as food is brought by what I guess are "runners" rather than our server Sam. The Mac & cheese arrived before one of our drinks or the starter with the wings arriving shortly after, which I must say we're delicious. However whilst still eating these our mains arrived. Now this may be an American thing where they don't clear the first course before serving the next, but we'd no room in the table! Our mains were very good, brisket was tender and juicy, ribs were succulent however the steak was a little dry. Overall we really enjoyed the meal but felt a little rushed given if we didn't eat quick enough the food got cold. Portions are excellent and Mac & cheese was very tasty.
Looking around the staff were very accommodating to people's requests, if they could just have it so good arrived at the right time in the right order once starters had finished they'd get 5 stars.
Toilets were ok. A little stadium like and could do with a freshen up. Despite this I would recommend a visit if in the area.
Last evening, my coworkers and I decided to unwind at Dallas BBQ in Chelsea, and it turned out to be a delightful experience! From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was vibrant and welcoming, setting the perfect tone for our evening.
The staff at Dallas BBQ were outstanding. They greeted us with warm smiles and were attentive throughout our visit, ensuring we had everything we needed. Their recommendations were spot on, and they even accommodated a few special requests without hesitation.
Now, onto the food – it was nothing short of amazing. We started with their famous sticky wings and Texas-size drinks, which were both a hit among the group. The wings were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of sauce, and the drinks were refreshing and well-mixed.
For the main course, we indulged in a variety of BBQ favorites. The hot wings were tender and flavorful, falling off the bone, and the Mac and cheese was cooked to perfection, melting in our mouths. The sides, especially the onion loaf complemented the meats wonderfully.
What made the evening even more enjoyable was the camaraderie and laughter shared among us. It's not just the food and drinks that make a place great, but the company and the atmosphere, and Dallas BBQ in Chelsea offered the perfect backdrop for our gathering.
We left Dallas BBQ with satisfied bellies and happy hearts. This place is definitely on our list for future outings. Whether it's for a casual dinner or a special occasion, Dallas BBQ is a great choice for anyone looking for delicious food and a lively atmosphere in the heart of Chelsea.
Overall Rating: 5/5 Stars - Highly Recommended!
First, I want to say I was visiting from Texas, and we, by chance, came across Dallas BBQ. It was a great find. The staff and service were awesome and friendly. The food was also really good. But I have to make a special effort to talk about the enormous and awesome tasting sticky wings and fabulous customizable drinks. They are both must a try if you visit. If I'm ever in New York again, this will be one of my must stops. It's not classic Texas barbecue or anything but the flavors and food are great. 👍🏽
Great food, we had a party of 10 and we were able to make reservations beforehand, they let us bring a cake to celebrate a Birthday 🎂 Very tasty food, service was fast & cordial
Amazing food at great prices, the portions are amazing for the quality and what you pau. Service is super quick even when they're busy and the staff are super attentive! And the cocktails are great too and so reasonably priced! Definitely recommend!
Dallas BBQ is not the ideal place to eat as a vegan but will get you by if happen to be joining a party here … I ordered the burger salad bowl , subbed with beyond burger and tempura broccoli… my salad was brought out with cheese added accidentally, but they replaced it quickly. The sticky sauce is my favorite, I lightly dressed my salad with it and used it as dip for my broccoli. (Salad photo taken after mixing)

The sticky wings are the clear winner here but of course, this is the one time I didn’t order them. Get them if you go because at Dallas bbq, 1 wing equals the entire wing: the drum and the flat. So if you order 5 wings here, technically it’s 10 if you go by the way every other place gets you for wings. The food is good, not great but the prices are really good especially considering you’re in NYC. My combo of a sirloin steak, 6 big fried shrimp, a half a rack of ribs, a piece of cornbread and a side is only $24. To put that in perspective: I went to lyric theater to see Harry Potter and the cursed child the night before, and they charge almost $27 for a bottle of soda and a small cup of popcorn. Definitely a decent, affordable place to go to with multiple locations if you’re visiting nyc.
Note: there’s no refills on soda but they have a gigantic like 36oz cup of it for $6. Not bad at all. Check out the last picture.
We stopped by at this BBQ spot for diner while we were in New York, and this place did not disappoint
I ordered their salmon bowl and it was probably one of the best salmon bowls I’ve had in a while everything about that salmon bowl was delicious.
We also ordered some hot wings and they literally brought out the whole wing with the tips and everything. It was a lot of wings to eat.
we didn’t expect this place to be as good as it was. The staff was very helpful, very friendly, very attentive to us, and the food was extremely well so overall I do recommend this place if you’re in the area in New York.
Friendly welcome, fast service, clean and competitively priced for the area. Menu has some lower carb options like bunless burgers and salads.
Food was great, I'd definitely come here again.
My recent visit to BBQ's with friends was a decent experience overall. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the fantastic food and drinks they had to offer; it was nothing short of amazing. The menu had a delightful variety of options that catered to everyone's tastes, and I couldn't be happier with what we ordered.
However, there was one aspect that left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. Towards the end of our time there, the staff abruptly turned off the lights without any prior notice that the place would be closing soon. It felt like a lack of common courtesy, and it would have been more appreciated if they had given us a heads-up about their closing time.
Despite this minor hiccup in the experience, I would still recommend BBQ's to anyone looking for delicious food and drinks. The ambiance was vibrant, the staff friendly, and the culinary offerings top-notch. It's a great spot for a fun night out with friends or family, just be mindful of the closing time to avoid any unexpected surprises.
