Perfect place to find a the tea just for you. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable. Happy to answer any tea related questions and helpful in finding that one tea you might be looking for. First tasting is free and then any after that I believe you pay. They have a shop in the back to get a nice cup of hot tea. Recommend to anyone visiting the city for the first time or for someone who's looking for a new tea to add to their collection.

I have been purchasing Harney & Sons teas over a decade. I have finally been able to visit their store in SoHo. It's a nice spot to sit down, relax, and drink some tea. The best part is you can pick any tea available for a cup or a pot. I would prefer to have an option to pick the teas for the tasting - all of the tasting teas are flavored. I would also prefer a BYOP (Bring Your Own Pastry) optional policy I had brought some from Lysée, not with the intention of eating them here, but they were kind enough to allow it after I asked.

As a Turk, tea is indispensable. We cannot have breakfast without brewing and drinking black tea grown in the Black Sea region. For the last ten years, Turks have started to drink green tea, white tea, earlygrey and other varieties besides the classic brewed black tea. There is a variety of teas available here that you would never imagine. You can drink from the trial menus and try the varieties. very nice decoration and presentation

It is an experience, love the idea of tasting different teas and have a mini journey of flavors, didn’t like the “DesTEAnation” that much but I think it was worth the try! You have to order and pay upfront, they Dont have that many seats and tables available but when I went it wasn’t crowdy at all (also we were at 28°C so maybe nobody wanted to drink hot tea 😂) The place is pretty instagrammable so ✨🙆🏻‍♀️

Best value afternoon tea! The flights are super fun and you get to try four teas. Cream tea (two scones per person with cream/jam) and two different flights cost less than $40 with tax!

This is my favorite tea house in NYC! Harney & Sons Soho is such a fun and beautiful tea boutique. I love the whole aesthetics of the store and the fact that they have a tea tasting counter and a separate tea/coffee shop on the back of the store. In addition to teas, the store also offers a nice selection of desserts and afternoon tea sets for you to dine in. My favorite Harney & Sons tea collection of all time is their city tea. They’re so cute and tastes so good - makes a great souvenirs. I usually get the New York City Tea, Soho Tea, or the MET Tea. The store also sells a small collection of tea pots, tea cups and some homeward including city candles. Loving this tea shop and all their services.

Harney has such a good collection of teas. Tea bag ones are 20 count $9-12 range. I also get the loose leaf teas. Jasmine and green tea with blueberry are my favorite. If you need gift wrapping, you could add a dollar for each shopping bag or $2 for gift wrapping sheets and bag.

Attractive store in Soho in a spacious location with lots of tea choices - pre-packaged bags and loose-leaf choices. Nice cafe in the back with a menu including snacks and seating. Even though you can buy this brand in groceries and delis, it's nice to come here and see all of the choices. I like to stop by and stock up whenever I'm in the neighborhood.

A nice tea shop with cool tea related merch, including witty cards, I had a lot of fun just reading them. Also they sell CBD infused teas. Matcha Latte was made meticulously and tasted great. They have a quiet seating area tucked away in the back which adds a nice homey feeling to the place.

Since I visited Harney & Sons two years ago with my sister, I have become a big fan of this place and their tea. It is a good place to get some tasty teas for us, and also gifts for others. The interior remains unchanged since 2015, still really nice, open space. It has so many selections of great varieties of teas, it is fun to look around the store. The great thing about this place is that they have a small lounge space where you can enjoy their teas and also some sweets as well. We decided to have some tea and sweets before we shop. We order their Small Pot of Tea which is indicated as “2 servings” but it has a bit more than 2 servings in my opinion. They have a great selection of teas of all kinds. We also ordered their Summer Special item, Cherry Scones. They were really nice and tasty, perfect little afternoon tea time. Once we were finished with little R&R, we looked around the shop. They do have so many cute items there! They have all sorts of items that are of course related to tea, and some other items that are not really related to tea. Regardless, they are all interesting and adorable. We bough several tins of teas on this day for gifts. Everyone loves getting these teas… It is good to spread the joy of yummy tea!
