WOW. I heard about this place on social media and honestly went here expecting it to be another one of those overhyped places, but boy did they prove me wrong! 😆 We shared a slice of artichoke pizza and one of the Staten Island pizza, which turned out to be a great choice! The artichoke slice was thick-rimmed, creamy and filling, the Staten Island slice crispy with lots of flavorful tomato sauce and having alternating bites meant double deliciousness because every bite felt like the first bite again 😋 We were VERY hungry coming here after 3 hours of training, but one slice p.p. filled us up very well! There was seating outside, which was a bit shabby, but it sufficed. We will definitely be coming here again to try some of the other flavours (crab, or another artichoke one maybe 😍).

Our first New York Pizza at New York. We got the slice of Margherita pizza and it was Gigantic! They reheated it in their oven and it was piping hot and crispy! The sauce wasn't acidic, but more sweet than I am accustomed to, but I loved it. There aren't much sitting but standing areas in the shop. So expect to eat and walk or stand outside to eat if busy. There are seats outside, first come first served kind of a deal.
They also have local brew beer cans available and it went well with the pizza!

A solid pizza joint where you can try slices you’ve likely never had before. The crab pizza was a lot better than expected. Also if you come at night they do not have enough seating area for everyone and you may have to stand while you eat

Just devoured these ENORMOUS slices of classic NY-style pizza at the renowned Artichoke Basille’s Pizza. As the name suggests, they're famous for their artichoke pizza, so we couldn't resist trying that and a good ol' pepperoni slice. You know it's colossal when each slice needs not one but two plates!
Personally, I was all about that pepperoni pizza – super flavorful with that lovely thin crust. On the flip side, the artichoke pizza with its creamy white sauce was a bit too hearty for my taste. I found the sauce overshadowed the delicate artichoke.

Been coming here for a while. I love it because you actually get big slices for the price. The regular crust pizza is not too thin or too thick and perfectly crispy. The square pizzas still come out crispy and they are not stingy with the toppings! It’s nothing fancy and the outdoor seating is the same but it gets the job done. Perfect for a quick bite when you want pizza to hit the spot.

The artichoke pizza was pretty delicious and very unique. Never had anything like it before. Creamy and crunchy just the way I expected it.
The margarita pizza was also very tasty - nothing to complain about and it’s tough to mess it up.
The Sicilian pizza tasted a bit old and the crust was burnt. But the deliciousness of the margarita pizza and the artichoke one

Super huge and tasty pizza slices! (Our pictures show only half slices). Our favorites were the artichoke and the staten island slices. The vodka pepperoni was also good but not as surprising as the other ones. Nice crust, not chewy and actually tasty. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area on a rainy day.

Sit down and eat outside.
Good pizza, but Artichoke had way too much white sauce. I could hardly eat it. I think you should inacact the less is more policy here. Regular pizza was great! We will be back, just not for the artichoke. The sauce did choke us.

5/23 pizza tour 7 of 11- I liked the signature artichoke slice...to a degree. It was huge and heavy. and topping tasted great. It was like getting a whole plate of real good spinach dip. Pro and con maybe. It was way too much of it for me, could split a slice with someone for a snack but would still need or want bread on the side for dipping in the thick layer on the slice. After only maybe a couple bites just used some of the crust to dip in it till had more than enough. I did really like the flavor of the artichoke mix but didn't need that much and the dough was thick and dense unlike any normal NY slice that didn't make me hardly even think pizza in my head and while alright for a few bites was the worst part.

We were looking for something quick and simple to eat before a jazz set we were going to hear over at Blue Note and found this place. The pizza was classic NYC style pizza with a great tasting crust. Not too thin, not too thick. The sauce was not too herbaceous and not too sweet. Toppings were fresh.
We ate outside in front of the place.
