Great spot for grilled Mediterranean food! Service is nice and food is quite fresh. The octopus was splendid and so was the grilled meat. I was not a big fan of the messenger sampler. Next time we will only take the hummus. Take a outside spot, it’s so much more enjoyable! Totally recommend this spot and the octopus!

We decided to try out this Turkish restaurant as it had outdoor seating and one of our favourite places near here had closed (sniff). We had some fried Calamari, Crab cakes and a Mezze plate. The Calamari were huge rings but tasty. The other 2 plates were okay.

One of my favorites. Great Mediterranean food. The cold mezze is beyond addictive and the fresh bread is amazing. Service can be lacking at times but the food makes up for it.

Swordfish kabobs - large pieces of swordfish very dry and overcooked with mediocre vegetables skewed along with them. I am done order swordfish in restaurants -- no one seems to be able to prepare it right. The freshness of the salad was just okay but i guess in new york you get what you pay for. My friends food was also average. We got some fried filo dough with feta cheese and the filo dough was undercooked and not flakey and the filling had an extremely neutral taste. The service took long. I would not eat here again. However it is one of the cheaper options close to the met.

The food was average-good, I ordered the mixed grill, and for dessert got the milk pudding, baklava and traditional turkish tea. Everything came on time and the food was decent. Although, if you a tourist and aren't aware of how the tipping process were, as I wasn't aware because it was my first time visiting the US. After paying, we left the restaurant and the waitress ran out after us saying, very rudely, how bad tippers we are and tried to get more money off of us. As a student on a budget, and a tourist, I was extremely shocked and in disbelief on the way she acted and will never go back due to her actions, which to me was very new.
