This was the best Italian food I had in a long time.
Highly recommend the gnocchi gorgonzola or the lasagna alla bolognese and the tiramisu or the panacotta.
Great little place. Very tasty pastas, but our favorite is the fig and prosciutto flat bread. The staff is super friendly. Decent wine selection, though it does not have a huge beer selection which is to be expected at an Italian place. My wife and I will be returning probably many times
Nice and cozy restaurant situated in Harlem. Service as fast, items are reasonable, and the atmosphere is comfortable
Always have a great time at D'Amore. Raffaele, the owner is a very warm and hospitable host. He values getting to know everyone that walks in the door. This isn't your typical dine and dash. It's cozy and the right setting for making real connections over a meal.
The food is superb. I had the grilled octopus my first time there, and I could have that everyday. I've also had the pizza, as well as meat and cheese platters, and all of it was just right with a few glasses of wine.
If you're ever in East Harlem, I highly recommend coming here.
We came here on a Sunday night and had the pappardele bologneze and the linguini with sausage. Both were delicious! The service was very good and we also met the owner who's really friendly. The decor and atmosphere were very nice too. Recommended!
A welcome sight in this part of town, with decent coffee, food and wine. Their wine list could certainly do with some global additions to the domestic sludge but that doesn't take away from the relaxed atmosphere and cozy setting that the management maintains over this bar.
Bravo!! I'm Italian and I can tell you that Raffaele, the owner of D'amore, knows how to give you the real italian cuisine and moreover one of the best that I've tried here in NYC. Wounderful place with an amazing huge bar table. Well done Raffaele!
I came here with some colleagues for some authentic Italian food and was not disappointed! My uncle owns an Italian restaurant, so i grew up spoiled and very critical of competitors. Rafael, the owner, knows Italian cuisine! Pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was delightfully simple. I am definitely making this one of my regular places.
Awesome atmosphere, nice staff, good wine.
Stopped in for brunch on a cold Saturday afternoon to a warm reception and prompt service. The food was delectable, the wine was delicious and the service was impeccable!!! Overall a great experience I cannot wait to repeat.
