Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Petit Poulet. We decided to eat here when our flight was delayed (we'd been staying in the attached Radisson Martinique), and I'm delighted we did!

Everything was excellent - stellar service, good location, quiet and bright. Lovely wine, exceptional meals (the duck cassoulet was on par with a similar dish we had in a tiny Parisian restaurant), delicious mousse for dessert.

Highly recommend!

This restaurant missed the mark on so many levels. First, service was slow, uninspired and inattentive. I ordered two different bottles of wine and they were out or couldn't find it, still tried a third time and received no apologies. Our appetizer of pomme frites took 16 minutes to come out and our entrees almost 45 minutes thereafter which isn't too bad. I had the beef bourguignon and it smelled and looked amazing and properly prepared but the ingredients were not quality. The beef was chewy, fatty and some pieces were simply hard. My friend got the roasted 1/2 chicken and that was really good. The atmosphere is French bistro chic and would've been lovely if everything else had fallen into place. If you go for cheese and wine, may be best even though they don't have a ton of French selections.

I wanted to escape the Herald Square crowd and managed to find this gem in the process. What first strikes you about this place is how aesthetically beautiful it is. It feels like a mix between a 1920s American bistro and what I would imagine the dinning room in the Titanic would have been like.

The wine selection here is fantastic. It's varied, plentiful, and well-sourced. The appetizers are a bit expensive, but they're ridiculously large. The staff was attentive, amicable, and very thoughtful. I foresee myself coming back here often.

Nice atmosphere...cozy american-french inspired bistro in the middle of Koreatown in NYC. The food is tasty...must try their French onion soup...not a major selection on the menu for the entrees...prices a bit steep for what you are getting...food a bit too salty for my liking. Worth a try if ur in the area. 😆

Ask for Sam! I have dined twice at the establishment and both times have been a wonderful experience. Sam is a perfectionist and will tell you the best menu options and even more important what not to order. I had the cheese tray of his recommendation and it was perfect. The beef bourginon was savory and made with root vegetables and pearl onions. After the main course he suggested two desserts we tried both, Granny Smith tarte tar tin! And a chocolate tarte that was amazing! The experience was so good I had to go back again the next day. You have to try this place, and make sure you ask for Sam!

Had a lovely dinner the other night. Sam's wait service was friendly and solicitous. The filet au poivre was fabulous and the snails delectable! We can't wait to go back on our next visit.

Frequent traveler - Connected to the Radisson Martinique, this restaurant is cozy. As the other reviews said French comfort food. The Matre D, Lenny is amazing and identified me as a visitor due to my suitcase, he told me about the tree lightening in town. The wait staff and support staff are seamless. The food was very good.

We were staying at the Martinique Hotel and stopped by for a quick drink at the bar. The service was good and they made a really good mimosa (with not much oj). Their food menu looked pretty good and we really enjoyed the atmosphere.

The food was good but unexceptional. I had the moules frites and the portion was generous but not particularly tasty. The desserts were good, the pudding better than the profiteroles.

Great spot, hidden under the Radisson Martinique. French onion soup on point; for an entree, try Coq Au Vin. Doesn't disappoint! Would have been five stars if not for the lack of seats available at dinner. Definitely does not take away from buzz in the room: not too distracting, not too mellow.

Visited for brunch, it was nice and quiet and our waiter was amazing, so much so that he earned the review and extra star. The food was well presented, the menu appeared inspired, but the taste was bland. The location is not very busy which also improved the experience. Great service, cozy for meeting, easy to eat food.

Authentic cuisine, with excellent wait staff. Very knowledgeable, and focused on service. Beef dishes were super tender, with a beautiful hint of wine throughout. You feel like you are in France. The prices are beyond reasonable. You have truly missed a taste of Old New York if you don't relax and dine here.

Very nice little restaurant half a block away from the Empire State Building. Went there twice during a recent visit to New York and was extremely satisfied both times. The food was excellent - good solid fare with an authentic French accent and the service was friendly, efficient and helpful. Prices are also extremely reasonable - while you could spend more, an appetizer, an entree and a glass of wine needn't come to more than $50 per person which, considering the quality of the food is quite remarkable.

Had an excellent Saturday lunch with the family here. They made a special butter/pasta dish for our 3 year old. All of our entrees were excellent and the prices reasonable. The service was attentive, although it wasn't crowded.

I was looking for a place for lunch and came across Petit Poulet in Herald Square area. They were serving brunch only at the time but their menu had tasty options other than just eggs and baked goods. I had their special of the day, Seared Scallops. Have to say it was over the top delicious! Scallops were seared perfectly and not gritty at all. Combined with spinach and mushrooms, it created a beautiful harmony in my mouth. To add to a very pleasing dining experience, the waitstaff and maitre 'd were gracious and friendly.
