Isle Of Capri

If I could give this place 100 stars I would. This place is absolutely hands down the most underrated restaurant probably in all of Manhattan, Isle of Capri is always my go to restaurant, whether it’s a quick bite or fancy dinner. The food is always the highest of quality and delicious, the service is also very good and never disappoints, the waiters are very polite and will make sure you get your food quickly. If you want REAL Italian food, then you gotta pay Isle of Capri a visit. The atmosphere is also very inviting and cozy, like you’re in a genuine old fashioned restaurant in Italy. My go-to meals are the Parmigiana or the Francaise, you could get it as either veal or chicken *SUPER GOOD* and also the Ossobuco is very delicious. I also have to mention that this place is so good that my family has been coming to this restaurant for 40 years.

Unbelievable! We got off the plane and came right here a recommendation from a friend that comes here weekly. You have to get Freddy as the Server. Been for years, perfect food. Homemade fresh pasta. The chicken Parm was cooked to perfection. The deserts are to die for, it’s like taking a step back into old Italy 🇮🇹 They finish you off with a proper lemon chello. I would highly recommend for anyone in the area.

This is by far one of the greatest experiences ive had at a restaurant. Last time i gave a review at a restaurant was because they deserved something great said & This place is recommended to everyone looking for a place to dine & feel like the food is from home & youre treated like family. I have no complaints other than being treated too good where im like woahh… why? Lol Trust me you wont regret dining here. The dish that we had was linguine gamberetti trust me you wont regret it 👌🏼 Ask for Armando, he treated us like family 👌🏼

Highly recommended. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, attentive. A welcoming and decorative restaurant, there is plenty of seating inside the main dining room, or we chose to sit along the edge of the restruant inside with lots of windows and people watching. There is an extensive menu here, we enjoyed the chicken Parmesan, sauteed shrimp, and the veal Parmesan, great portions... esp since we were so hungry!! Served fresh and hot, along with the complimentary bread and bruscetta. A great neighborhood find with a charming atmosphere. Enjoy!

I started off with their lentil soup (pictured) which I enjoyed. I have often eaten at Italian restaurants, but I rarely see a sausage with mushrooms and peppers entree (pictured) being offered on a New York City restaurant menu. I believe it was listed as one of Isle of Capri's specialties. The large portion is served here with a nice tomato sauce and a side dish of green beans and potatoes. The sausage and peppers were delicious, the cost was $28. I have posted pictures of the inside (taken at 3 p.m.), and outside of the restaurant. They do not close between lunch and dinner time periods.

What an amazing restaurant! After getting a procedure done at the nearby institute I looked here for a last minute reservation. The interior is gorgeous, and holds many authentic Italian decorations. The hostess was very friendly, and the waiters were quick to refill water, recommend specific items and drinks, and stay nearby for anything we might need. Talk about above and beyond! We got the Spaghetti and Meatballs and their daily special, which was a Linguini with Shrimp and bites of Lobster. Absolutely heavenly! Nice for a romantic or intimate outing, or for a family affair. Fresh bread was also provided, and it was definitely fresh, with complimentary bruschetta offered to boot! What a lovely experience, definitely consider this for your next Italian outing. Juan was great, the hostess was great and the manager was so friendly and personal!
