The penne vodka was excellent and they have a great wine selection to go with it! The man behind the counter even offered us a free cocktail as they are trying out a new cocktail menu! Great spot for a quiet intimate dinner especially if you want to people watch! Just moved into the neighborhood so will definitely be going back.
While in town it was our go to place for breakfast. Really good food and great service. Best bacon I’ve ever had. They even have cheese grits for us southern girls.
Very good eggs Benedict - had to send home fries back (cold and obviously sitting out). Waitress was efficient and very friendly - fixed me up with a fresh side ASAP. Good coffee - can add liquor, a generous pour.
First place I ate in New York and I loved it! The French toast was one of the bests I've had and the staff was friendly and prices were reasonable, would definitely come back!
Love it!!. We stopped here for breakfast the morning after we arrived in NYC (staying at the Holiday Inn W 57th -- very convenient). The waitress was so friendly and the food so good that it became our daily starting point! Everything cooked to order very well. The greek yogurt with fresh fruit, honey, and granola was outstanding. Prices very reasonable. All staff and owner very friendly. Will definitely return!
A friendly little place near the Holiday Inn on 56th where you can get good food for a fairly cheap price.
Food is very good. Great friendly service. Very clean and also attentive staff.
Fast, friendly, affordable.. I had lunch here several weeks ago. It was extremely busy, but they found me a great seat almost as soon as I walked in. I had their soup of the day (lentil), which was good and very hot, a fantastic grilled cheese and bacon sandwich, and a diet coke for about $9.00. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes.
On a side note, I walked in about 11 PM a few nights later in a snow storm to grab a cup of coffee to go. Again, fast, friendly and affordable.
One of my favorite greasy spoons in NYC. Always open and hardly a food exists that is not on the menu.
Really love this place! Been here multiple times during my stay in New York, the staff is nice and the food is good. A great menu with lot's of options.
The staff is so nice and the food amazing. We went to breakfast every day in our trip, I recommend 100%.
They have grits here! And they were good! Somewhat chunky, but otherwise with a thick yet gritty consistency that almost made me forget I was north of the Mason Dixon Line. What a great find! I needed to add salt & butter, but so delightedly surprised to discover such tasty grits in Manhattan!
Service was attentive, as I typically drink a lot of water. Our coffees were continuously topped off. And, at no point did we ever feel rushed. We were offered two different open tables, our orders promptly taken, and our food swiftly brought. Great breakfast prices for Midtown, as well.
Very good Service by Kiana - The Pork Chops were very good; the Lobster Ravioli had CHUNKS of lobster on the top, which I mistook for chicken pieces; the Duck L'orange was outstanding. Would definately re-visit
A great meal at any time of the day! Good for families looking to dine together.
Quality food and excellent service 👍🏾👍🏾
Extremely good tasty American cousine. I'd go fat so fast if it was next door to me. Highly recommended.
Quick service, took 7mins to prepare both meals.
Had tuna club sandwich. Wow. Absolutely stunning!
A nice sweet spot. You must get their sweet potato fries....or there regular fries. The sweet potato fries are firm and not limp and greasy.
We went around 10pm and even though there were other people there, it was quiet. A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
I'll be back....
We were in town for a few days and actually went here twice! The food was great but it all boiled down to Alicia, our waitress. We were there for a few hours each time and she kept the mimosa's coming! She truly made us feel welcome and I had to hug her. She's amazing!!
Nice place, had breakfest there a couple of times, attentive service, accurately had all my requests followed, good food, they even have cappuccino (though American in nature...)
Fair prices, fast service, good eggs. Nice view of NYC streets
