Bettolona

I eat here often. Very familiar with the area because I grew up here. This restaurant is relatively new to the neighborhood. The food is good. Nice size and great ambiance. The owner is usually there and he is very cordial and friendly. He will definitely remember you if you are a repeat customer. I do mostly takeout now because of the pandemic. The pizza pie is great for one person and the brick oven taste is awesome. Love the mashed potatoes. Be ready to spend but worth it.

Lovely, well sized, charming Italian eatery right off the 125th 1 train stop. The food was great, the place was bustling and the service was appreciated. Good place to meet friends or eat as a family or couple - it’s neither super fancy or totally casual but a nice in between. Would eat here again if in the area and recommend it to friends.

I usually have complaints about the pasta served in the US. It's usually overcooked and has no concept of al dente. But this place was different. One of my local friends recommended it and I casually stopped by for lunch. I ordered Bolognese. I didn't mean to test the restaurant, but they say you should try Bolognese to see if the restaurant is good or bad. Their Bolognese tasted fantastic. The pasta was perfect for me. I wish more restaurants in the US were authentically Italian like this restaurant. Grazie, Bettolona!
